We love @fitwaffle for her super-simple, incredibly tasty baking ideas. And boy, she smashes it out of the park with this one.

If you’re a sucker for a sweet cinnamon roll, this macro-friendly, French toast inspired ‘casserole’ will definitely have your head turned. Made in literally a matter of minutes, it’s an easy crowd-pleaser that will satisfy cravings and hit you with a hefty 37g of protein too.

Delicious any time of day, but we especially recommend starting your morning with this big-hitting breakfast, or digging in after a particularly brutal leg day for some serotonin.

Tip: this recipe can be made plant-based by switching out the protein powder to your favourite Vegan Blend and using any dairy-free milk.

Ingredients

Instructions

1.

Slice your bread into cubes and place them into an ovenproof dish.

2.

Add 100ml of any milk, cinnamon-flavoured protein, and cinnamon into a shaker. Shake well until completely smooth.

3.

Pour the cinnamon Impact Whey Protein shake over the bread cubes.

4.

Cook in an air fryer at 200°C for 6-7 minutes, or bake in the oven at 220°C for 9-10 minutes.

5.

While you wait for it to bake, make your topping by mixing together 10g of cinnamon-flavoured Impact Whey Protein powder and a teaspoon of milk to form a runny paste.

6.

Once cooked or baked, drizzle the topping on top of the cinnamon roll. Dust with icing sugar if you want to, and then serve warm! Delicious.
