"I decided to try this out after being a strict True Whey guy. The taste is not as good but I feel that's unfair because True Whey is hands down the best tasting whey I've tasted. This still tastes pretty good (I have vanilla), the flaxseed leaves a funky after taste but only in your first couple sittings, after that you don't even remember it was there. And overall I feel this a better deal both price wise and as an overall product by having multiple sources of protein. Will buy again for sure"

"Bought this product a few weeks ago, and has it has been super effective! I saw the offer of 3kg for the price of 2.5kgs and thought i would give it a go and have to say this is the best shake ive had to date! I recently lost 5kgs in weight after having food poisoning and when i got back in the gym found i had lost a lot of strength, since taking the total protein i am back to lifting the same weights i was before and i am looking super lean! This is the only shake i will be using for a while!"

Another fine product by MyProtein. As a few have mentioned it has a slight grittiness to it but that is being picky. Taste is perfect (choc mint) although it's slightly sweet!

I really rate this and would suggest the smooth choc. I've just got 3kg of mint choc and much prefer the choc. It's a little bitty cos of flax but dosent bother me and it's def not the worst tasting and would prob be delicious with milk instead of water.

Amazing product! Hit The wall with taking just whey - the blend of different proteins is immense! Has enabled me to add an EXTRA 2lbs a week of lean muscle with no other change to diet or training! Can't argue with facts... No mix ability or taste issues either? Vanilla tastes great

this was my first purchase of the Total protein. I went for the smooth chocolate and have to say it tastes great and mixes really well (with milk). Added to this is the whopping 46g of protein per serving so this looks a really good product.

"I chose the banana option, im normally able to guzzle down any protein powders and enjoy them, but, im not getting my stomach round this one so easy. I have this as a mid morning shale and mix with milk. What's all the grittyness in it, i take it that's the flax seed powder? And is the extra yellow colouring necessary? Quite a synthetic banana taste also. My previous purchase was the MP Impact Whey Cookies n Cream which was just perfect! Not tried long enough to report back gains."

"I've heard a few negative comments in regards to the mixability. Well if you also purchased the MP shaker you will have no problem! This product has the highest source of protein about for just 60g (two scoops). The taste doesn't bother me, if i want a good tasting milkshake, I would go to Tesco and get a nesquick! (agreeing with a previous review). For me the worst it tastes, the better it is for you. If it tastes amazing it's usually because its just full of sugars and flavourings and less of the well needed nutrients. This is excellent for just finishing a bulking diet when intentions are to get ripped (if you alter your training and throw in a good amount of cardio) I would reccomend for all who want the 'beach body' ;)"

Probably had some of the best gains so far with this product. Unflavored doesn't taste wonderful but mix with flavdrops or milkshake powder and it's easily palatable. The addition of egg powder can lead to some offensive flatulence but hey it's small price to pay.
