"Awesome taste, just tastes of slightly sweetened oats ( I have the unflavoured). Mixes wonderfully with milk ( havent tried with water yet) and although I cant make a judgement about the effectiveness yet, its certainly one of the best I've had based on the components I can judge it on at this point . "I have been taking this for about 3 weeks now, I have nearly finished the bag, and I have found it effective not only as a weight gainer but a good lean mass builder. I bought strawberry cream and it taste very good with water and milk. It mixes ok but I use a blender so there is no problem. Using this as extra meals on top of my normal meals, I put on about 2-3lb a week. I would buy this again."

"I really think this an first class product. Having since learned a lot about nutrition in the context of muscle building recently, when I thought I knew a lot anyway, this is a fantastic source of high quality nutrients. Oats and Barley as carb source are far superior to maltodextrin maybe with the exception of PWO drink, the tapered protein release makes up for Wheys ultra fast digestion (again only useful PWO). This is almost as good as real food but is convenient and cheap. Very 'clean' nutrition in comparison to other supplement companies (sometimes who charge double the price). I have noticed some batches mix very smooth, some batches the oats aren't quite as fine, and it leaves the shake with a slightly ""bitty"" texture with the bits being heavier and falling to the bottom. Shake before every swig if you get a batch like this, my new pouch actually mixes to total smoothness though. I have tried Strawberry cream and chocolate. Both are nice, although the strawberry became a bit too sweet towards the end of the pouch. I was hesitant to try chocolate as im not usually one for chocolate flavoured things (ice cream in particular) but the chocolate smooth flavour is a great balance, not too sweet and very palatable. Well done MP, I don't know what i'd do without this product."

I have found this to be a very good product. I have put on 6.3 kg in about a month and a half of using the product - in which time I used two 2.5 kg pouches in addition to my normal 3 meals a day. I took 3 serving's a day. In terms of mix-ability I think you just have to shake it a bit more vigorously and it is fine if a little oaty which is to be expected. Taste is actually quite good (with water). Overall very pleased with the results.

I used this stuff for 3 weeks and I am not one that cares about taste but the texture told me that the carbohydrates were complex and I put on good weight fast with little fat.

"not using it anywhere near long enough to see results, but i find the taste isnt exactly bad! (choc smooth). is a little bit grainy after u mix, but i bet thats all the stuff that aactually makes a difference, so neck it down thee."

"The chocolate smooth flavour is almost unbearably sweet, so I don't think I'll buy it again. I can only really compare to the Elite Total Gainer product (choc mint) which tasted great. Mixes much better than Elite Total Gainer, but I'd rather have nice tasting with lumps than foul tasting without, any day. Gains-wise, too early to tell, but they seem similar."

Vanilla tastes disgusting and does not mix well at all leaving a lumpy texture. The chocolate is slightly better however the taste still isnt pleasant at all. I was very disapointed with the product after liking the impact whey so much. Not one of your best products im afraid to say myprotein.

"I got the Chocolate Smooth flavour and I have to say it has been too sweet for me. I HAVE been able to get through the bag though! I'm using this alongside Impact Whey, and along with my diet I'm getting 150 - 160lbs of Protein a day and this has resulted in increased mass - not as much as I'd like but these things take time. Think I will try the Unflavoured version next - one thing to remember is that the Protein content is significantly lower in the chocolate version, around 8% drop. For me the content of protein is more important, I can always add a teaspoon of hot choc powder on top if necessary. With regards its mixabilty, I found the blender ball didn't smooth it out enough and was quite bitty. However, get yourself a hand blender and you'll notice the difference - totally smooth."
