Old (Great) to New (rubbish!)
1Take note from the majority of the most recent reviews - this product used to be good as is now rubbish. I've seen some people say "its the exact same product just in a fine powder form" well that hasn't changed the fact that it has made a huge difference to its effectiveness for me personally. I used to use it to increase my fiber and help in the toilet with my IBS and it was a miracle worker - this stuff hasn't done a thing for me. I've tried different amounts over the weeks (from 10gs a day right up to 25gs a day) and experienced no difference. The real kick in the teeth is it tastes even worse than before! I can deal with horrible tasting supplements if they work, this is going in the bin. Now I'm off to find a good deal on some whole psyllium husks that actually work!!!Goes Well With:Nothing. Seriously. Ruins any drink or food its mixed with.

Best supplement ever
5I have IBS and have been struggling with really bad constipation and abdominal pain. I've tried Psylium Husk from elsewhere and it didn't help but this stuff has been amazing and has allowed me to live a normal life. I only go to the toilet once a day now for a few minutes rather than spending a half an hour a time 3 to 4 times day it has been such a relief. Don't care if it's powder and not whole, it does the job. Don't worry about it not mixing or the taste. In my experience Psylium husk doesn't mix or taste nice you just add it to a glass of water as part of the dosage, stir and down it quickly.. Goes Well With:water

How to prepare?
1This stuff is a pain! Doesn't mix in hot liquid! Goes gloopy. I stir for quite a while, kneading the gloop into th herbal tea.....little progress. How do people manage to stop this from clumping? Is there anything that this can be mixed with to make it drinkable?Goes Well With:You tell me?

New powder
1I have been buying psylium for a while and it has changed recently to a finely ground powder which doent seem to do any thing and tastes awful.

The product has changed to the worse
1I use to be a regular user of this product for a long time and it use to have a good texture. The fibres were not too fine. However, now they are finely ground like sand or powder which makes them difficult to mix and have a bad texture. I hope you go back to your previous method of grinding them.

POWDERED husks is a big mistake.
1I have used WHOLE psyllium husk for a few years, but am very disappointed with the powdered husks. It tastes different and certainly does not mix as well as the original whole psyllium husks. I am now buying the WHOLE husks from another supplier online at a higher cost. I am hoping that myprotein start selling the original product again, and if they do I shall return as a customer for the product. Very disappointed. worst product ever
1As previous reviewers, why change a good product for something that doesn't mix, tastes really poor and difficult to swallow. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

Product varies
2I have bought this product several times. Unfortunately, it seems that the product vaires from batch to batch. Sometimes the product looks like small dry shells of the seeds, other times it looks like finely ground flour. The problem is that I have experienced varying effect of the product, it is a really great source of fiber and has a great effect on gastro-intestinal health. But this effect is most pronounced for the whole seeds, I have noticed significantly less effect when I recieved the finely gound flour, even though i took the same weight of product each day. And sadly for me, the altest product I recieved was the finely ground flour variety... Bummer!Goes Well With:Oatmeal in the morning

Not what I ordered
1The whole Psyllium Husks were excellent fibre, easy to mix with water and bareable to drink. Without warning I ordered what I believed to be whole Psyllium Husks and was rewarded with a powdered Psyllium Husk. This was unpleasant and I am not convinced it has the same fibre content and the whole husks.
