cheap substitute?
1This product is a poor cheap replacement for the whole husks. The looks and the quality of it seems to be the dust that was left over from the production of the quality original product myprotein used to sell. Myprotein have you just bagged up the sweepings from the production floor and decided to sell it on to the customer. You should go back to the original product or just stop selling this rubbish.Goes Well With:cat litter

Shouldn't be powdered
3Psyllium Husks were much better a while ago, when myprotein sold actual husks, not powder. The powder sticks to your mouth terribly if you try taking it on spoon with water. If you mix it with water it turns into a "glue like" mess in seconds. Only useable for baking and mixing into smoothies.

Powdered not as good as Whole
1This used to be a great product before it went to this terrible powder alternative. Mixes badly and taints everything you mix it with.

Awful
1I have used the Whole Psyllium Husks for a long time! This powdered stuff is rank! It doesn't work, it taste disgusting, if you don't drink it in a matter of seconds you'll choke on it or have to eat it with a spoon! The original whole Psyllium Husks had 89g of fibre per 100g whereas this powdered only has 74g per 100g! Will you ever sell the Whole Psyllium Husks again?Goes Well With:Nothing

Made me sick
1Actually made me feel very sick and nauseous. Used a few times and it was definitely adding this to my morning shake that did it. Perhaps I just have an intolerance? Product was well packed arrived as expected just unable to use.

Does its job very well
4This product has helped my digestion a lot mixes ok in water doesn't taste great but you don't need much and you can't notice it if it's in another shake.

A must have
5Psyllium husk powder is an absolute must for any wanna be low carb/Keto/Paleo baker.. it binds your ingredients and provides a true to taste bread like texture... I've made burger buns and loaf bread with this, and the results are always outstanding! Highly recommend Goes Well With:Almond flour, coconut flour or simply add to your favourite baked goods

Could be better
3Psyllium husks are great and I've been taking them for years now as I believe that they help maintain a healthy gut. They can be pricey and so you can understand why I was so happy to find these at myprotein at such a "good" price however, as with just about everything, you get what you pay for... The myprotein psyllium husks have been ground into such a fine powder that they don't dissolve/blend very well and tend to bob around in globule like forms...They also taste pretty bad compared to other alternatives. I have called up on 3 separate occasions asking if a coarser variety could be bought perhaps blended (as a well known health store offers) with iIulin, Lactobacillus, Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium Bifidum and on all 3 occasions I was told that a coarser variety was previously available via Myprotein and that numerous people had requested it's return.. perhaps this review may stimulate the myprotein buyers to see what is available in the market and come back to their many clients with a superior offering to the one currently available.Goes Well With:Water... just about
