"Just bought this instead of standard whey for the different release rates of protein. Can't comment on effectiveness yet but since I know the results from whey I gave it the same rating. Only bad thing about this so far is its really chalky (I think its the milk concentrate from reading reviews on milk protein) and it leaves a chalk feeling residue in your mouth you have to wash down with water. Other than it seems all good. If you're new to supplements/dealing with supplements I would recommend getting the regular impact whey, same kind of price, but no chalkiness."

"this is a good protein, it has multistage release proteins, with the whey, egg and milk, which is very good for in the morning and after workout. if you work out in the afternoon (like i do) have one at breakfast and then one after workout, as the slow release proteins are still having an effect by the afternoon from the morning shake. my recovery time reduced massively when on this, and i didnt ache as much the next day. the taste is reasonable (choc smooth) you get used to it after a week or so. but man up, its a protein shake, of course it isnt going to be the best tasting thing ever. would recommend to people trying to bulk up but stay relatively lean "

"Good product. To be honest i dont know why people are complaining about mixability and taste. Either get on the frijj or get a decent shaker. I use this mixed with instant oats, mct powder and abit of mp smooth peanut butter. Tastes lush and is even better when mixed with skimmed milk. I have been on this concoction for about three weeks now and i am seeing good results. no added body fat at all and gaining weight. I also use it on its own first thing in the morning and it still tastes ok and well."

"I usually go for the Impact Whey Protein but as I was short of cash went for this 'Total protein', big mistake, in comparison it is gritty and the taste is undrinkable, absolutely gutted that I have to wait till the end of the month to get back on the Impact Whey unless I go elsewhere."

"Nearly finished my first order of this product from MYPROTEIN and i can not complain what so ever. I opted for Bananna flavour, which i dont normally and it tasted great and mixed alot better than the brands that i would normally get. This product was just as cheap and i quite enjoyed the added flax seen and amino acids, it saved me the add on's in buying these also. Only complaint is that i didnt realise it came without a scoop so i had to guess with a tablespoon. Def going to stick with myprotein from now on."

"Really pleased again with MP ordered late on sunday and got my items today VERY fast and reliable there services have never let me down! Got total protein for its higher protein plus the clever blend of proteins in it . i have been using pure hurricane xs but wanted something else too, so im using this for my main shakes hurricane xs for meal replacements (when i need to) and bedtime extreme for the added HMB and slow releasing protein. Got to say the taste of total protein is great really enjoyable to me anyway. Dont know why people complain about the taste anyway isnt it the effects that we take it for? "Gave this a go as I'm German Volume Training and I just can't stuff enough in otherwise - found it not only works well as a dieatry supplement but as a recovery aid as well, so I'm not permanently hungry and losing energy or feeling sore/stiff next day. Went for the Choc Smooth as I've got a soft spot for the sweet stuff and, let's face it, I'm still getting 40-odd grams protein per serving - dim bad! Tastes perfectly fine, mixes really well in the MP shaker. Can feel a bit bloated sometimes, but this has allowed me to cut down on carbs that i used to eat alongside the chicken farm I was munching through each week - like chickens? Buy Total Protein and save a few (for tea, anyway) I think I'm looking more cut, though I think the big difference will appear once I've stopped GVT and returned to normal training. Can't recommend enough to be honest....oh, and it's cheap as chips compared to the market."
