I love the taste of the New CarniPro, but mixing it is a real nightmare!!! The fist time, I mixed it in your free shaker and ended up with a ball of what seemed like animal glue around the blender coil - what a mess!! It is much more difficult to mix than Carnivor I have found better results if I mix it dry with your Whey Isolate, flax seed and coconut floor roughly 25/ 25/ 25/ 25. I will continue to use it because I love the taste so much :) Also, I would have liked it without any artificial sweeteners - I mostly buy Reflex Vegan powders as they are sweetened with Stevia. Another also - whatever you do - do not put it in porridge and then cook the porridge - it boils over at the slightest provocation!!!!
Goes Well With:
Whey Isolate Flaxseed Coconut flour

Yes mix ability in the standard shaker is a problem, however a good blender with water and a few ice cubes sorts that issue out... Taste is delicious, can't fault the chocolate flavour. Definitely prefer this type of protein compared to whey and whey isolate, easier on my digestive system. Will keep on buying from now on.

as carnipro was on special offer i decided to give it a go and picked the unflavoured version. am used to the hardgainer unflavoured mixes and to adding just a little cocoa powder, this way i avoid the ever present sucralose that comes with flavoured powders. first the taste: it's vaguely salty? i mix it with almond milk, a spoon of green and blacks cocoa powder, creatine and i tried to add instant oats as well for a high calories solution. the powder itself has got a dreadful smell to it, like... something died? but luckily it doesn't carry to its taste. but it made me hesitate when i had my first shake!!!! carnipro sits like a lump on my stomach after i injest it and keeps me full for hours. not the most pleasant feeling but i remember i was the same when i first started with the hard gainer mixes too. so perhaps it's a case of getting used to it. second, mixability: i hate to echo what everyone else said, but it's impossible to mix this powder adequately. you need a blender basically. and even then, if you mix it with instant oat powder like i did, you need to add a lot of almond milk (or other liquid) to make it drinkable, otherwise you're looking at concrete mix with added lumps! so you end up with about 1L of a shake, with a lot left at the bottom of the blender as it sticks like mad. third effectiveness: it's still early days so i don't know yet how this will compare to hard gainer. since it makes me feel bloated and full though, i cannot eat quick enough after and probably lose out on calories intake! but perhaps my stomach will get used to that. we need more ppl trying this powder out and for longer to be able to talk about its effectiveness and its effect on our digestive system. i wanted to try an alternative to dairy and whey, but i think until this product is made more shaker friendly i will stick to mixable dairy alternatives personally. would be good perhaps if myprotein could start adding this type of protein to new mixes like "carnipro hard gainer" for example to maybe improve mixability?

Gave this a try due to developing and allergy to whey protein concentrate. Was so pleased to find a protein that I can stomach. After trying different brands I'm more than happy to keep to my protein now that they can support my needs

CarniPro is an excellent protein with the BEST taste! It really tastes like chocolate milk. I consume it after workout and it is amazing. The only problem is that it does not mix very well, but that's nothing compared to the amazing flavour and definitely a value for money protein. I have not seen lots of differences yet since I started it like three weeks ago.

Pretty good proteinpowder (choco flavour). It does not mix very well, it tastes very good though. It has a nice rich chocolate taste and has a good amino-profile. The macronutrient ratio is perfect, the taste is awesome too. I rate it 3 because of the mixability issue.

Mixability - requires very hard shaking and a lot of liquid and even then it often comes out clumpy and foamy Taste - Tastes very nice with milk and bad but drinkable with water Effectiveness - Very good source of high protein with little fat and carbs however due to mixability issues is difficult to get more than the 23g of protein

I was looking to get another protein powder to change about with my MyProtein Pea Protein Isolate powder as I have started to get sick of the taste. I refuse to drink whey as I don't eat dairy (Increased catarrh, acne, illness) so I noted this new product. I assume this is sourced from cow meat so at first expected a bovril/gravy edge to it. Pleasantly to my surprise, the chocolate flavour by a long shot surpasses even the best whey I have tasted. It is very smooth and is much more like chocolate milk than a whey shake. It is quite hard to mix, getting a few small clumps in water and with almond milk but the powder is so fine it isn't as gritty as with whey. Will definitely have no problems consuming this for an extra protein source through the day.
Goes Well With:
Water, Almond Milk, Vanilla Rice Milk

Overall:

The strawberry tastes really nice, but does not mix very well and it can be very lumpy with the lumps becoming very chewy and sticky which can be quite unpleasant. Used a hand blender and it mixed much better but is a bit tiresome using the blender everytime. Overall not a bad product but the mixability needs improving
Goes Well With:
