Meat Juice
4Whey protein makes me sick, this doesn't. It tastes decent however does not receive 5 stars only because it is not completely soluble in water. Effective however & does the job a winner in my eyes.

Good Protein
4I have got a problem with CarniPro..It mix not very well.Taste is good but not a "tasteorgy" ;-) Altogether this product is good stars4 :-)

Depends on Flavour!
4I bought the unflavoured one first as I wanted to avoid any added sugars and preservatives and was really unhappy with my purchase. The mixability was terrible so i had lumps in the shake and the taste of it was awful. I still have a bag of the unflavoured protein at the back of my cupboard... I decided to have another go though and ordered the chocolate one, when it turned up i mixed it using a shaker and this time there weren't as many lumps and the flavour was actually surprisingly good! Im going to try to mix it in a blender with some fruit later and see how that goes but I am very hopeful :) My advice would be - go for the flavoured one unless you're planning on mixing the unflavoured one with chocolate milk or something like that, in a blender preferably. Other than that I am very happy with the chocolate flavour and will definitely buy it again! :) Goes Well With:Fruit juice or flavoured milk / almond milk

4Tastes great, exactly like chocolate milk, very sweet. I've been using it for a few weeks and I'm definitely noticing the effects. The mixability's not great, it helps if you add a little bit of water first (about the same volume as powder) and shake into a paste, then top up and mix it together. Otherwise it'll be fairly lumpy.

3The unflavoured one doesn't taste very good, but it is unflavoured, so no right to complain ;-) However, the mixability of the product is awful, even when you mix it for 10 minutes there is still lumps and foam. I tried to bake it as well, it was a really bad idea. Indeed, my cookies stick to the baking sheet. But still it is a good product, because completely suitable for paleo diet and sugar free addict and very high in protein.Goes Well With:blended with fruits in a smoothie

Bad Mixability
3Saw this with no reviews so thought i'd give it a try. Unfortunately, i have to say that the mixing is terrible, as it is convenient for me i often mix shakes with water... I bought Banana flavour and it did not mix with water well at all, the taste was quite frankly disgusting and like i said, did not mix well even after i shook it for about double the usual time necessary, however, mixed with milk i found the flavour to be rather enjoyable, and the mixability was slightly better but still disappointing. I would perhaps recommend trying an alternate flavour.Goes Well With:Milk

Great but a blender is a must!
4First off, the taste of this protein, is great! The best I've tasted in a long while. I'm lactose intolerant so only mix with water, but the banana flavor is still strong and the texture is nice. I do tend to add an extra 100ml of water or so. The recommended amount is far too little! As with the other reviews, mix-ability is a real issue with this product. I tried mixing it with a shaker...once. It was clumpy and no matter how much i shook it, I couldn't loose the lumps. I now use an electric hand held blender to mix it and it's now perfect. If you need a protein you can mix with a shaker, I honestly wouldn't bother with CarniPro. You won't be happy. If you're using a blender, then I can't recommend it enough!Goes Well With:Water

3Normally I get quite annoyed when people review a product and score that product on mixability and taste but forget about the main point - effectiveness. However, this product simply just does not mix well AT ALL. To the point where you miss out on 2/10 of the protein content because it is stuck to the bottom of the shaker. Having said that, this is protein is clearly the best I've taken for lean gains in the 9 years that I've been training for. It's a real shame but I've had to score this 3* because it takes me 20 minutes to get through 8/10 of the shake. Goes Well With:egg white powder

4Very good taste and does not give me the bloat that I used to suffer with the whey based products. Mix ability is not that good, so I use a hand blender which works wellGoes Well With:Water

Mixability
3Hard to mix in a shaker bottle, flavour ok. I can't say it's not effective, it probably is, but if you can tolerate whey, go for it instead.Goes Well With:Water
