5these are really good! i'm not a fan of protien bars in general but theses are really tasty and they are the perfect after dinner treat. they do have a odd texture... the chocolate and caramel top is lovely but the base is rather chalky,..i was expecting more of a biscuit base but its not terrible just unexpected at first.. it tastes better of you put in a fridge for a bit and goes well with a good coffee. plus it has all these added vitamins so that's a big plus!Goes Well With:coffee

4I got the caramel flavour & they are seriously delicious! Great snack to keep me energised, I would recommend them for sure. They definitely appeal to the sweet tooth in me. Can’t wait to try another flavour! Goes Well With:Tea/coffee

Carb Crusher Caramel Nut
2The taste of the Caramel nut bar is powdery in texture and not a great taste. Definitely not a good tasting protein bar and would not purchase again. The Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt was ordered at the same time, and these are great in taste, quite filling without the powdery texture. Good amount of protein in these and enjoyable as a snack.

Did not enjoy
1I tried the fudge brownie bar which was included within the birthday party bag. The texture of the fudge was not pleasant and left a gritty feeling in your mouth. The smell and taste of the bar made me feel quite sick. I was looking forward to trying a protein bar as they are made out to look amazing however, I struggled to eat a few bites of the bar. I would not buy this product again as the texture and taste was extremely off putting. Goes Well With:The bin

New carb crusher bars
1Yuk binned them. Please bring back the old recipe. The new one is awful. Texture and taste nothing like the old version. I used to buy boxes and boxes of these for our household but no longer. Dark chocolate sea salt was the best bar ever. Goes Well With:Waste disposal unit

Why change a winning formula?
3I was surprised to see MP bring out a new range of Carb Crusher bars, I felt the old version was one of the better protein bars out there, taste and macro wise (Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt). Regardless, I wanted to try the new version and ordered the peanut butter flavour. Have to say these are a step down from the previous bars. The texture is good (closer to an actual chocolate bar) but the taste is way off, it has an artificial tang to it and the flavour is nothing like peanut butter. Feels almost like a waste of 200 calories. I will persevere and try another flavour, hopefully they don’t share the same artificial taste. If they are anything like peanut butter then it’s time to find an alternative!Goes Well With:Old Carb Crusher bars

Okay taste, but powdery!
2Got this bar as a sample. Me and my boyfriend have tried LOTS of protein products and bars. Gave this one a go but weren't impressed. There are lots of gooey ones and ones that replicate oaty flapjacks out there but unfortunately this one was really powdery in your mouth. My boyfriend also agreed and wasn't keen either.

Not as good as the old
4Tastes good, but not as good as the previous carb crusher. Changed the texture as well and is now closer to other brands. A real shame as the previous was 5 star. Great macros, on par with a shake.
