Too sweet!
3This is a great product apart from it being much too sweet and the Sucralose leaving an unpleasant chemical after taste. Please can you create an unsweetened version or a blend with coconut sugar instead of Sucralose?Goes Well With:Water

Pancake batter
3I was so exited about this product I was fully expecting a great product as I love My protein products. However this whole food vegan product is almost undrinkable!!! I mixed 3 scoops with 500ml of almond milk and it's literally so thick I can barely drink it, I mean it clings to the glass like batter!!! I enagije the high flour content makes it this thick i would look elsewere for a vegan meal replacement in future. Shame considering I brought 3 2.5kg bags of it :( Goes Well With:Wallpaper and foods that require a flour base such as pancakes

Make your own
3Long review but bare with me. I started using this product about 6 months ago and left it a glowing review. However after so long I got really bored of having the same flavour every day (i only liked the chocolate flavour) and wanted something a little bit more savoury. I decided to look at the ingredients and have a go at making my own blend that I could then adjust depending on what flavour I wanted. I bought all the key ingredients from Myprotein and it has worked out about 30% cheaper. Bonus! My biggest observation though is that if you look at the ingredients there seems to be a lot (percentage wise) not accounted for and there is clearly a lot in whole fuel to make it sweeter and thicker as my own blend is considerably thinner. My mix is Oats, pea protein, flax powder, vita fibre, and a bit of fruit to finish it off and add flavour. The macro nutrient ratio comes in pretty much exactly the same and I'm cutting out all of the more artificial ingredients and sweeteners. The only difference is that it's not got all the vitamins in, but whole fuel only has a third of your RDA per shake and as I only have one a day I'm just using a multivitamin instead. Obviously it's a little bit of extra work up front to mix a batch (took me about 30 mins), and you need to mix it with a blender each time, but I was having to blend whole fuel anyway as it's so thick.

New formula
4Overall really recommend this product. I do use a blender to mix it to be honest. However since packaging change late last year, the flavour (vanilla) is definitely changed and for the worst unfortunately. Used to love it before now so much.

Great item but use water and blender
5I recommend this item. I have been using regularly. But please bear in mind, that its served best with water and make sure you mix it using a blender e.g. nuri bullet. Goes Well With:Water

Good for fat loss
5Great mixability and the taste is like a sweet malt chocolate shake. Some people have said it's too sweet but I find it nice especially as you won't be having dessert when using this for fat loss. The sweetness is similar to that of dairy milk chocolate. Recommendation is 3 scoops but I have 2 proper meals and this is my last meal of the day, where 2 scoops keeps me full before sleeping. A 1kg bag has lasted me about 3 weeks and has been a great aid to my cutting regime. Only downside is if you have a sensitive stomach, it will make you go...if you know what I mean. Nonetheless, it's worth the trade-off for a few months cutting to keep your nutrients up.Goes Well With:2 scoops in 500ml water

Whole deal
5Ignore the last review, not sure what some people expect from a supplement these days. Personally, I’ve tried hundreds of products over the last 25 years and whole fuel is exactly what you would expect it to be. It’s a meal replacement, containing everything you need at a great price. It mixes best, in a blender ,but it also mixes well in a hand blender if you shake it properly and add water first and then top up with water after adding the powder - personally, i find 2 scoops with 700 ml of water, the ideal mix. The taste is great, absolutely no issues. I looked at using Huel, but was put off by the cost( I don’t need a T-shirt and another shaker to add to the collection) I run several 5k and 10k’s every week and I’m an open heart surgery survivor. If I can do it, anyone can 💪🏻

Tolerable, but nothing more than that
3A friend recommended this product to me, and I used it daily for a couple of years before the availability got really patchy and I was forced to look for an alternative. On reflection, I'm really glad that happened. I had not tried similar products before, and only now that I've shopped around I realise how horribly unpalatable it is compared to its competitors. It only mixes if you use an electric blender. The only flavour that I can stand straight is the chocolate, and that's a "meh" rather than a "yum". The vanilla and vanilla raspberry work quite well if mixed with fruit, but that's not always practical. Basically, if you're happy to use a product that requires you to hold your nose and think of England while you drink it, you're gonna be right at home. If you actually value taste as well as function, you might want to shop around a bit.Goes Well With:Lack of other options
