Good Product
5I recently bought the 2.5kg strawberry and cream Total Protein after trying around with other protein shakes I thought I would give this one a go purely on the amount of protein in one serving. The taste is fantastic and it mixes so easily. I would like Myprotein to make samples of these so I can taste other flavours and would be interested to know how much protein is actually in the strawberrys and cream flavour compared to the unflavoured. Overall i would suggest this to anyone and would buy it again. Goes Well With:Creatine

MP Total Protein
4I have used Total Protein for a couple of years now along with another companies all in one. I have seen good gains, but most importantly, recovery is vastly improved when I add some total protein to the all in one rather than just having it on its own. I used to get serious DOMS, especially in my back and legs, but with total protein the effects are much reduced, and if I wanted I could do another session of the same muscles 2 days after, whereas before it would normally take me 4-5 days before I felt comfortable again. This is an ideal blend, especially for breakfast or post workout, as there is a high whey content for fast absorption, as well as a mix of egg and casein for longer term release and with casein's anti-catabolic qualities it is brilliant before bed mix with milk as well (the milk slows digestion, so although it has high whey content, it will delay absorption slightly and stretch it out). Finally, taste wise, I have had the chocolate smooth and the vanilla. The vanilla mixed with water is average, but with milk it's brilliantly smooth and creamy, and very handy to mix other things in like bananas, strawberries etc. Chocolate smooth is decent taste, better than vanilla with water, and about the same with milk. One issue with the choc one is that there is a slight chemical after-taste, but it's easy enough to wash out with water or fruit juice. Overall, a great product and at a decent price. Mint chocolate
4Full of good stuff but the mint has a very bitter taste about it. Going to try strawberry next time.Goes Well With:Ice and a banana

Total Protein
4Gd solid product, I use it with the MP oats for breakfast and mid evening just to tide me over, definitely looking a little leaner on it and would reccomend it to anyone! Goes Well With:MP instant oats

5Total protein is a very good source of mixed proteins. I got my first batch as unflavoured so the protein content did not dip, as with flavoured you get that bit less due to added flavour. Personally I go for results not taste and you get the results with Total protein. I'm very happy with this stuff.Goes Well With:Alpha men, Myprotein Crepure creatine

4As many others have stated, Total Protein is quite obviously great value for money, especially the 2.5kg bag and above. The taste is absolutely terrible, the texture is unbearable. I ordered strawberry cream upon reading the current reviews, but again the texture is just awful. Another person described it as sandy and I couldn't agree more. Don't let me put you off buying this because it is a great product, especially if you don't mind the taste, I have forced myself to get used to it!Goes Well With:Creatine Monohydrate, weights

5Total Protein is excellent. I take it after the Gym, and strawberry smooth flavour tastes great with milk. It helps my muscles recover and helps me to keep my weight. It's perfect, and no other supplements are required.Goes Well With:Milk

5Total Protein is not too bad. I have been taking it 2-3 times daily for under 2 weeks and I've already started noticing some results. I've also noticed, after consuming this product, that I don't feel hungry at all for a couple of hours. The flax seeds may be a little annoying, but that is the main ingredient to aid fat loss and help gain lean muscle. I have purchased the banana flavour, which isn't too bad, and all in all I would say it is an excellent productGoes Well With:Milk but tastes better with water (surprisingly!)

5I have just bought this Total Protein for the first time and I was a bit unsure about buying chocolate as some the other chocolate proteins I have had haven't been very nice, but this has got to be the best tasting chocolate I have ever tasted! I will definitely start buying the chocolate flavour from now on. Even my girlfriend liked it which is unusual as she never likes any protein drinks.Goes Well With:Milk.
