Foamy when mixed
4Unflavored doesn't taste too bad. When mixed, there is quite a big head of foam on top, so a bit of chewing but all good.

No problems live it
5Those that are having problems. I recommend the Strawberry one as I think it tastes great. Yes the mix ability is different because it's a different Powder, it's a slow release and it works great, definitely seeing results. I like the froth it's more like a real milkshake. Note it is very chalky so when transferring it from tub to mixer or pouch to mixer it does kinda go everywhere, so be careful =) Worth using though, speeds recovery. 30 mins before bed. Usually wake up feeling less hungry too. Highly recommend Goes Well With:Water, skimmed milk, bedtime

Something I dread each evening
2Unlike all other types of protein my stock vanilla flavour has an awful flavour and texture. One scoop with 250ml of water, as recommended, creates a very frothy texture which is unpleasant to drink. I hope that this product is highly effective and the notion of slow release protein before bed should help to aid muscle recovery over night.

Bad Texture
2Texture is awful.. leaves a weird chalky feeling in your mouth. And when you mix it, it foams up really bad. i had banana, tastes alright but i wouldnt choose it again. Tried strawberry before and that also had the bad texture. Love the impact whey and loads of the other MP products, just not this casein.

4I bought the natural Chocolate flavor, it doesn't have the best taste, but it mixes very well and works great so over all im happy!

Poor blendability
3I have been using this for almost a year and I have gained about 10kg although I cant say whether it was to do with my drastic diet change and training or whether it really did contribute to my gains, but I do feel personally that this does help me meet my daily protein requirements. My major problem is that its really hard to blend. Im shaking it for ages and I am left with a grainy texture and a very thick foam which is very difficult to swallow. I have to then add more water and shake again which is really annoying. I do find that I sometimes cant be bothered and end up throwing the foam away which would be 1/6th of the shake. I have tried it with milk and it does blend a little better than water but you are still faced with a slightly less grainy texture and the foam and it does become very filling. It may work better if you use a blender but I dont have the patience for that. Therefore although it may be cheaper I am considering purchasing this product from ON next time as it doesnt really seem cost effective to me at present. Goes Well With:Water, milk possibly a blender

Taste lests the product down
4I've got the chocolate flavour and it just tastes too powdery, I've tried adding more and less water and it still tastes poor. It's drinkable but you have to down it. Also the chocolate flavouring is too weak. Next time I order I'm going to buy unflavoured and add loads of water to try and make it thinner then add loads of black current or something.
