The taste itself is by far the worst I have experienced, simply could not have more than 1 of these shakes due to it. Now trying to sell the rest of the bag. +'s . Mixes Well -'s . The taste is absolutely vile Consider getting an isolate instead flavoured rather than this. Tried mixing with 3 tablespoon of Nesquick but that didn't even make a bit of a difference.

Great if your lactose intolerant

I must have tried over 20 different brands of protein and always felt bloated and bunged up as I'm lactose intolerant, but this Hydrolysed Whey Protein is the first product that actually works for me. I'm really happy I have found a protein suitable for me and I can feel the gains at the gym again. The taste is pretty bad, but after a few days your taste buds adjust to it. I would 100% recommend trying this product if you're lactose intolerant.

I normally have unflavoured protein powders and have never had a problem,I don't need sweeteners etc and don't have a aweet tooth.Even for me this was virtually undrinkable and truly vile, I have to hold my nose and down it like medicine!A real shame as I've never had a problem with MP products.If it wasn't for the price it would becin the bin by now!

Better than all the other Brands.

I have tried many protein shakes by other popular brands which claim there protein powders are lactose and fat free being certain you will get no intestinal irritation. Hydrolysed whey protein by my protein is the only protein powder which hasnt given me intestinal irritation or bloating as such. I bought the unflavoured option and must say it doesnt taste that bad compared to other over priced brands. The taste is a bit bitter but it tastes good enough to drink! All their products are well worth the money with great value prices. I would really recommend this product and the brand in general if you want top quality sports nutrition products with the lowest price possible! It goes well with Creatine.

Some of the comments here are ridiculous - it's hydrolysed whey, of course it isn't going to taste like ice cream! Secondly, mixing it with high sugary drinks and powders completely defies the point of paying more for a super clean whey protein. The effectiveness is awesome and really, with any product, that should be all that matters, because if you want the results enough you wouldn't care about the taste. In any case once you're half way through your taste buds will be used to its flavour. Still a 5* product because its only as good as its results! Goes Well With: Creatine.

"Having read the reviews I prepared myself for the horror of the taste, and found...there was none. It was pleasant: creamy with a slight bitterness. I had used unsweetened almond milk the first time which improves the flavour. With water it is slightly more bitter, but nothing to the extent people have been describing. It is still totally drinkable, and not unpleasant. I recommend making an amount that you can consume straight away. Also, not having it following something particularly sweet. But many people seem to be desensitised to natural flavours by sugar and sweetners. I suffered no intestinal irritation either. It's a great product."

Tastes like creamy unsweetened Espresso exept its cold! I mixed 30g with 200ml water and I drank it as I would drink any other drink. I wasn't expecting any fancy milk shakes from it.

"The first time i drank this i barely got it in, it was awefull. I mixxed it with water and the strawberry powder from MyProtein to make it a little beter after reading the reviews but it was still awefull. I'm now using this same product 2 weeks later but im mixxing it with orange juice, it's much beter this way ! You don't even taste it anymore.. As for the results, haven't had anything like it. Great stuff"
