Best protein shake for all the right reasons
5I have tried numerous proteins and had various results and experiences. This wins over them all for the following reasons: results, ease of taking, price & how well it mixes. I have waited a couple weeks before posting this review so I could comment on results and after a fortnight I have definitely put on lean muscle mass(approx 2.5 lbs). I train hard and religiously and so can definitely tell when a difference is made and this is certainly to be attributed to this protein. I have always had an issue with every protein I've ever taken for how I feel afterwards generally bloated and nearly always gasey. I took this as just how it had to be for taking the extra protein. However, I can honestly say the hydrolysed whey gives none of these problems. It gets straight into the system and due to the further filtration this type of whey goes through over any other types it gets straight into your muscles and gives no discomfort. My last protein before this one was a well known and respected brand I bought from Holland and Barret that many national rugby union sides use and roughly worked out at twice the price of myproteins! I have also bought myproteins shaker that comes with the whisk ball and it mixes this whey up fine in 10 secs max of shaking. My recomendation - buy the 2.5kg bag of hydrolysed whey unflavoured. This gives the maximum amount of protein per shake and actually tastes fine though due to other reviews I bought some banana flavour drops and they do the job great. Goes Well With:Water and flavour drops if required.

Man Up!
5Ok it doesn't taste amazing, but it's not that bad. Plus you're not using it for its taste, I look at it like a medicine, doesn't taste good but is good for you. Mixes brilliantly, I mix with water in a shaker. Since using have noticed considerable recovery in my muscles post workout. Feel no pains or aches which in turn means I can push myself next time :) Highly highly recommend this product. If you can't handle the taste then maybe you should take up knitting instead of working out :)Goes Well With:Water, hard work.

5As a bodybuilding competitor i always look for the best in quality but also affordable. This poduct gives me exactly why my body needs after every intense workout..I mix it with all supplements in my shake (use supp. mostly without any flavor), add flavor and water.....what i get is a smooth mixture that tastes great, it`s easy on my stomach and diagest quickly!

Great Pre and Post
5Great for pre and post work out shakes. Unflavoured was never gonna taste amazing but flav drops sort that out. Mixes well and leaves no clumps. Overall excellent product.Goes Well With:Dextrose, flav drops

hydrolysed whey
5Hydrolysed whey.. tastes like sick! Partially digested by bacteria, in other words like gone off milk. You get used to it, but the first time is a bit of a shock. Its easily digestable, low fat, low carbs, low calories, high % protein, so the taste is the compromise. If your serious about your diet/nutrition why eat other whey that are suffed with flavourings and sugar, just to taste niceGoes Well With:man up and have as it is with water

5I've never tried Hydrolysed Whey Protein on it's own so can't really comment on the taste but I put 1 scoop of this and 1 of flavoured impact whey in my post workout shake and tastes fine. No problems mixing.

Good Product
4Great product I don't understand why so many people are moaning about the taste?? Mix it with sugar free Ribena and you are sorted, once mixed it tastes much better than some of the flavoured whey proteins. If you are looking for a high quality Protein that is absorbed quickly then this product is perfect. Great for consumption within 30 mins of a workout. Whack it in the blender and down it job done!Goes Well With:Perfect with sugar free Ribena

Bad taste? Never heard of it
5I see a lot of comments about bad taste of this product. I didn't notice anything like that. I was in doubt after reading all the comments regarding taste but I am drinking my shake now and it tastes okay. I mixed it with milk and banana and it tastes like a generic milk shake, no difference at all. I also mixed it with kefir (eastern european dairy drink) - tastes good. But if you mix it with water or juice - a bit gross, but not more gross than mixing any other unflavored protein with water.Goes Well With:milk, kefir

rank but works
4Ok this is by far the worse thing I've ever tasted... its something else but I do think its good stuff and works as I do not have any pain after a workout and I see gains in muscle mass. All I do is pinch my nose and get it down me asap just like I do with a bottle of vodka... does the trick, will buy again even though the taste is so discusting.Goes Well With:Cordial
