Great product, but the taste, not so great
3I bought Strawberry Cream as an alternative to the delicious chocolate flavour, big mistake. I've tried mixing it into food and shakes, but the rank smell and flavour still comes through. It almost fizzes when you mix it like fruit that's gone bad. The best I've found is milk and hold your nose! It's a real shame as the product offers a fantastic blend and an alternative to chocolate would be welcome.Goes Well With:Nothing

Horrible taste
2I went for strawberry and cream as nothing else was available. Sad to say, I made it to the first shake, and that’s that. A horrid synthetic strawberry flavour, which I reinforced by what tastes like 70% sweeeteer content that leaves a terrible after taste. My suggestion? Go with vanilla flavours with this brand, doesn’t seem to go wrong!

Works for me
5This blend is perfect just before bedtime to aid physical recovery and muscle growth through the night, love it! The chocolate tastes really good, the strawberry will not be on my list for the future - nasty.Goes Well With:Great just with milk, tastes really indulgent

Works but not the tastiest
3Sadly not to my tastes this one, rather watery thin texture and overpowering sweetener taste, although there is a nice hint of cocoa. Does the job but shan't be buying again, if this could be closer to Rego in taste and thickness you'd be into a winnerGoes Well With:A coffee to get rid of the sweetener

I did another review
3I forgot to mention the waxy maize starch, another filler ingredient. Such a shame. All the right ingredients but in the wrong quantities. Bring waxy maize starch and maltodextrin to around 5% each and bring the serving size down to 40 grams and have this serving size provide around 4g of creatine. MyProtein please listen to this as it’s making me and others look elsewhere. Maybe make an “Extreme Recovery Blend Elite’ where you do this and make it more pricey if you have to. I just don’t want to buy a mid price powder for post-workout, just for it to have 22.5g of maltodextrin and waxy maize starch per serving. May as well just have whey protein and white bread, which is a shame as it will have the same nutritional value despite this powder having all the fantastic added vitamins and creatine which isn’t prominent enough to have a positive effect in a 40g serving. Thanks.

Extreme Recovery Supplement
4Purchasing was straight forward and easy with all the usual pay as you go. The option of flavours is quite limited but the strawberry one I picked is really tasty and goes down easily. Recovery rate has increased immensely and I’m enjoying hammering my body out in my gym.

Tastes horrible
2I thought i'd try MyProtein after a few people have recommended it - not this particular product though. Sadly the chocolate, in my opinion, tastes foul and has a real pungent aftertaste. I'm comparing to Syntha-6 which I find delicious and just like a choc milkshake. Disappointed I swapped and have 2.5kg to either get though or throw away.

Great taste!
5I haven't had a lot of shakes before so my experience isnt a lot. I have the chocolate smooth flavour. It tastes great! Found myself craving these on the days I don't work out. Feel fresh the next day every time. Would highly recommend to anyone. No lumps after just 30 seconds of shaking.

Expectations exceeded
5Having increased my protein intake to 240g per day, it was not possible to get this from food sources completely so I thought I would opt for a supplement. I really don't like using them and at 10% body fat I was concerned that I would increase this with the addition of the carbs from the protein. This was and is not the case. The flavour is great, very smooth and replenishes my Glycogen/ protein stores so that my DOMS has reduced significantly. Great product My Protein. Blue, Red, Blue. Goes Well With:Mix mine with water which is lovely. Not as sickly as milk.

Good taste and works
5I use the strawberry flavour with 450ml of milk after a workout, really tasty and reduces aches significantly in the 24 hours after a strenuous run.
