Great filler for low carbs on the cut
4Although I like this product, the advertisement is very misleading and nothing like the picture. This pasta isn't tubes, it's flat penne and is jelly like and chewy. So when it arrived i was disappointed but it wasn't as bad as i thought once i'd heated it up in the microwave, added some chicken and pasta sauce. If you can stomach the texture then it's great but it does take some getting used to. I'm currently cutting my weight after bulking and was struggling to keep my carb intake low until i found this pasta. It really helps with my diet and means I can still eat my muesli for for breakfast, rice and chicken for lunch as well as have a glass of wine in the evening with it fitting my macros so for me its a win win! Definitely not worth it
1I have been using products from my protein and have loved everything else but I couldn't stomach this. The box sady is misleading as it is a photo of real pasta this is solid tubes of milky white rubber. I knew I wasn't going to be the same as pasta clearly but I couldn't even look at this with out gagging. I was really gutted. I hate to complain so a silver lining is the rice and noodles are so much better so I would recommend those foe a low carb and calorie diet Goes Well With:Erm, nothing. But get the noodles instead

First experience
3I love pasta and bolognaise sauce but being on a low carb diet I can't eat pasta. Thought I'd give the MyProtein Penne a go. Other than the shape it doesn't look like pasta. It's pure white not yellow and it doesn't have the same texture. That said, mix it in with bolognaise meat sauce or the sauce of your choosing and it does the job. You actually feel like you've eaten pasta. The individual portions make it easy to use at home or at work, wherever there's a microwave. Goes Well With:Any pasta sauce

Good low calorie substitute for pasta
5Great low calorie substitute, boil for 5 minutes then fry in a dry pan for another 3-5 minutes for best results. 100g of this is a lot less that 100g of pasta so not really a meal's worth. Has a rubbery texture like squid but as someone who loves squid this is fine. Rinse before cooking as it smells when opened.Goes Well With:Tomato and chilli pasta sauce

rubbery texture and not much taste
3it's not terrible but it's not the best either. has a rubbery like texture and doesn't have much taste but the portions are good size and mixes well with any sauce. not sure if i would buy again though

Just don't
1Thought I would try and go low carb using these products. I tried the first pack and just the smell made me feel sick tried to eat some..... just didn't happen, mixed it with some sauce and it was still awful I ended up giving it away and even they couldn't eat it!Goes Well With:Somthing with alot of flavor to cover it!

Make sure you know what you're getting
5My Pasta (the whole range) is amazing, but it's not pasta and that's what people need to realise. It's a fantastic substitute, but it is made from a yam and will have a rubbery texture. Either you deal with the texture and still have your pasta meals, or you don't eat pasta, simple as. I love it and as an Italian I can't deal with no pasta. It's a really great way to eat all of the sauces and things that I'm used to without worrying about the carbs. If you have an issue with the smell or slight taste, boil for 3-5 minutes and then fry in a dry pan until it starts to make popping noises. It gets rid of all the moisture and allows a slightly firmer texture and better absorption of sauces. Goes Well With:Any Pasta sauce in the whole world!

terrible
1not a single bit even like penne!! These are really expensive for what they are. and these ones arent great at all. ive had another brands from groupon which are tons better. im really dissapointed with these! tiny portions aswell

Worst purchase ever
1I've tired a large variety of products from Myprotein and I've been really pleased with everything I had received up until these came through my door. I had tried the Konjac flour noodles and rice and enjoyed both of those as a side for various dishes. I found the noodles and rice not too dissimilar to the real deal but these are something else. I don't see myself as a fussy eater in the slightest but I couldn't even bring myself to eat one mouthful of these Mypenne things. If I had a dog, I still wouldn't feed them to it. Goes Well With:The bin.

Awful!!
1What is it?? Fishy smell and like rubber! More like squid than pasta! The concept is a good idea but don't waste your money!! A big let down for my protein! Goes Well With:Nothing!!
