Works well but too sweet
4Looked into Huel and Soylent a few others but the price always put me off so I tried Whole Fuel. Initial thoughts are that it requires a good amount of water to dilute properly (think 500ml or so or more) so my BlendActive bottle was not big enough and I needed a bigger shaker. Mixes well but the taste is VERY sweet. I'm used to unflavoured protein shakes and this was far too much, but I'll put up with it. As for effectiveness, I usually have just one shake in the morning, and sometimes a shake after going to the gym. After just a week I find that I have a lot more energy, and am needing less sleep. The fact it needs a lot of dilution means I am consuming more water which may account for some of the effects. Overall 4 stars.Goes Well With:Water (500ml at least)

Good stuff
5Currently I'm having 2 scoops at a time. I gave it 4stars for mixability, as after shaking the mix for a while, there is always a little bit that doesn't mix. Other than that, a great product. I don't know about the full benefits as of yet, but I hope to see them soon.

Good enough for me!
4It is smoother and a little sweeter than Huel, but unless you are extremely fussy, this is fine! The vanilla flavour is certainly not dissimilar to Huel. By the way, I only use 50g and make it up to about 400ml of water as I don't like it too thick. I find this excellent value for money and I hope myprotein continues to sell this product long into the future! Goes Well With:Just water ('cause I'm hardcore, obvs)

Tastes terrible, not as good a Huel
1This tastes terrible. Horribly sweet, very artificial. The ingredients are not as good as Huel.

Tastes too Artificial
3Having taken Huel for the past few months i was excited to see this new product however it tastes very artificial and not that great even when mixing with coffee or mixed berries. It's also too sweet and i usually like sweet. It mixes well but i'll be sticking with Huel.

This is not Huel..
3To be very clear from the beginning, those who enjoy the wholesome mild taste and satisfying texture of Huel will not like this one bit. The vanilla flavour is super super sweet. I couldnt stomach it made up according to instructions and had to go down to a 10g per 100ml water mix rate to make it palatable. The chocolate is much more drinkable though. The nutrient profile isn't as good as Huel, but thats not the end of the world. This isnt intended to be a product to sustain you on its own, despite the somewhat misleading name. Both flavours I have tried come over as very artificial, a marked difference to Huel. Mixes well though and is cheaper, expecially with the regular discounts on offer. Worth a try if you are keen to save a bit of money, but be prepared to accept a lower quality product on the whole.

Awesome shake
5This is the best plant based protein shake I have found to date. great tasting and mix-ability! The vanilla taste never gets old too.Goes Well With:water is the best with this. You can use almond or soya milk but it gets turns quite thick.

Not quite a Huel clone, but close
5Like many others here I've tried Huel before and noticed that MP have brought out a slightly cheaper version. Ingredients-wise and in terms of nutrition it's pretty much the same and serves the same purpose for me (high-protein breakfast on the go). I mix the Vanilla flavour with water and coffee and leave it in the fridge overnight and the thickness is the same, flavour is slightly different (bit sweeter, kind of tastes like melted vanilla ice cream) and unlike Huel there are no little bits of oat or whatever. I actually like the bits in Huel as it feels like you're getting more full as you're chewing. All in all this is a great substitute for Huel at a cheaper price.Goes Well With:Coffee

Huel but cheaper!
5This has the same ingredient profile as Huel and comes in substantially cheaper so decided to give this a try... Well, I wasn't disappointed! Went for the Vanilla flavour. It was a nice tasting vanilla product and didn't taste synthetic at all. Also had a nice offer code which was a great little bonus. Will be making this a regular purchase, thanks Myprotein!Goes Well With:Water
