Mixed review
3I bought this in two flavours to try. The vanilla flavour is disgusting, has an awful aftertaste and made me want to throw up after. Tried it with almond milk and water. Very synthetic and chemically tasting. Chocolate is drinkable and better ( slightly odd taste with water but better with almond milk) did keep me full

Too much sugar
3If this is to compete with Huel then reduce the sugar. 4% vs 1% in Huel. The Vanilla is too sweet anyway. It mixes better than Huel and at this price point is so close to beating it. Please reduce the sugar content!

Taste so gross and artificial
3I really wanted to be able to use Whole Fuel as a crucial part of a new health journey. It's the first whole food shake I've tried, although I have used full meal replacement VLCD shakes in the past. They taste pretty decent and less artificial than Whole Fuel. I stupidly bought a 5kg bag before trying so I've wasted money and I've got a huge bag that I'm just going to bin because I will never be able to drink this nasty tasting shake. Seriously, you guys could provide a better tasting shake with all of your resources. So disappointed and sad :’( Goes Well With:Nothing

Ohh woah the sweetest thing
5This is very sweet even for someone who cuts their post workout shake with a wee bit Nutella... I use half the recommended dose and cut with unflavoured pea protein and oats because it is sickly sweet. Also some whole nut butter to balance the saccharine sweetness as well. It blends ultra smooth which is great but could do with being 1/4 as sweet. Unflavoured option would be great as if throw in a frozen banana and some coffee and would taste great. Even with heaps of spinach, oats and nut butter this punches you in the face and has you reaching for something salty straight after.Goes Well With:Nut butter, spinach, and unsweetened almond milk. Anything not sweet!

Whole Fuel
4Bought in a sale which makes it half the price of Huel. Bought chocolate and vanilla 5kg bags but only used chocolate so far. Been having 100g a day, so one bag is 50 days worth. Ive had to use strong clips to keep the bag closed because i just cant get the bag to close. Thats a bit of a niggle. Mix wise, its easy. one cup to 3-4 cups water. the mix doesnt separate once blended in a cup blender. I think the blended mixture thickens slightly over the day. Tastewise, the chocolate is fine, a bit like a McD shake. There is a bit of an aftertaste which I got used to. After a couple of weeks, I had a really bad day of wind. Its a good meal replacement, quick to make, stored in ice block bag. Will definitely buy more once my stock has ran out. Would like to try the vanilla raspberry flavour. Would prefer smaller bags without the extra cost. Goes Well With:water

Synthetic chocolate concoction
3Straight to the point with the pros. Its effective and its cheap, (for what you`re) yet somehow, I cant see myself buying the product again. Its nutritional content boasts some impressive numbers with all the vitamins and minerals you could want in a shake. But, like many things... this is just to good to be true. I went for the chocolate flavour, just to stray away from adding to the plethora of vanilla shakes I have tucked away. BIG MISTAKE. It mixes like 30 parts concrete to 1 part water. Yet the shake being thicker than tar isn't the worst of the problems. One could genuinely mistake its taste for wall paper paste, I would have gagged less trying to swallow a whole banana. Judging by the reviews it seems to be the chocolate flavour that tastes this way. Maybe there`s hope for the other flavours. However. I can`t deny the effectiveness for such a good value. If you`re used to the taste of something you`d find under the sink, by all means give the chocolate flavour a shot...Goes Well With:Lots of Dilution

Chocolate needs work
3To my personal tastes, the chocolate flavour is unpalatable and triggers my gag reflex which isn't ideal. It's not like I'm not used to shakes - I am, it just has a very paticular flavour that seems 'plasticy' or 'synthetic' for want of a better word. So I am now experimenting with various blends with fruit and huel. Super great value though and does succeed in keeping hunger at bay.

Great Meal Replacement
4I've tried all three flavours of Whole Fuel while recovering from a broken jaw (and literally eating through a straw for 6 weeks). It keeps you feeling full and is easy to use. You can just shake it up in a shaker but get a much nicer consistency if you whizz it with a blender. Chocolate flavour is nice, not super sweet but definitely not savoury either. Vanilla is quite pleasant. Raspberry vanilla is ok, but in my view a bit synthetic tasting. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it is slightly reminiscent of drinking cake mix, although you do get used to it after a while.Goes Well With:Made with: water, milk, cottage cheese On the side: Spirulina, powdered greens

Very strange chocolate taste.
1Using 3 scoops makes this taste too thick. I got the Chocolate one and to be fair it does not taste like chocolate, but rather an extremely unappetizing nutty flavor. The chocolate does nothing. I do not see myself using it as the taste is incredibly off putting.Goes Well With:Just don't buy the chocolate one.
