After trying the butterscotch syrup and being somewhat surprised, I tried the maple syrup flavour and wasn't overwhelmed. It's a very gloopy consistency do doesn't run very well over the pancakes, and on its own without other toppings, it is disappointing.
Goes Well With:
Berries on pancakes or mixed into porridge

Very pleased with these products

So far I've tried the Maple Syrup, Butterscotch, and Apple and Cinnamon varieties as sweeteners for porridge, and am delighted with all of them. I normally add a bit of ground cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg to porridge, along with some yoghurt, and it needs a bit of sweetening -- these really do the trick, and are a very acceptable substitute for the honey I would otherwise have used.
Goes Well With:
Porridge, Yoghurt

Initially before chilling the product the consistency and taste seemed ok, however after using from chilled the syrip went all gloopy and has a strong nasty sweetner aftertaste. I understand it is sugar-free so some artifical sweetness has to be added but perhaps use a different sweetner and work on consistency as i would have to warm this before use from the fridge.

I have tried a range of these but before i go through the tastes please remember to store in the fridge!! it does say this and i find if you dont the taste seriously lacks and doesnt taste anywhere near as nice. i put mines in the fridge before use and shake well before using and it really makes a difference especially to the butterscotch :). Butterscotch= for someone who loves sickly sweet tastes, toffee, caramel, fudge etc this is my favourite. mixes well with oats, on pancakes and yoghurt. Raspberry= AMAZING in oats with birthday cake flavour protein powder... honestly like a jam centered birthday cake. also good with yoghurts. the taste is very strong and you wouldn't think it has no sugar. Chocolate= terrible... i love chocolate and did not like this. Apple and cinnamon= more apple than cinnamon. i personally love cinnamon more than apple so i dont use this one anymore however it is good in oats for that apple flavour. maple syrup= a lot gloopier than others. i do like this with oats but id go with butterscotch over it. havent tried with anything else. good flavour though golden syrup= not really one of my go to syrups really. not the best taste but does the job with oats. ill continue to review as i am going to purchase others eventually :)
Goes Well With:
oats, Greek yoghurt (fage) mixed with protein powder, pancakes.

I chose the Mayple syrup flavour and it does the job. I have seen lots of reviews saying how it tastes horrible and gloopy and I understand where people are coming from as there it is a little bit thick due to the xanthan gum. However, the taste is quite nice given that it is sugar free. People don't realised that it isn't possible to have a perfect syrup that has no sugar in. For a sugar free syrup it is nice and I would definitely pick it over regular syrup. Also bought the protein pancakes. Hence that down there.

Average taste, gloopy product

Thick, gloopy product due to the xanthan gum, very faint chocolate taste, strong artificial aftertaste. Fine for adding as a topping but can probably find a better tasting/stronger tasting product elsewhere. Not good for baking as a liquid sweetener replacement
Goes Well With:
protein mug cake topping, porridge,

My review is based on the raspberry and butterscotch flavours. I’ve been wanting a healthier alternative for a while and some sites are wildly expensive, so when I noticed an offer on Myprotein.com for 2 for 1 on their sugar free syrups I ordered 1 raspberry flavour and 1 butterscotch flavour. Both syrups are very nice, they are slightly runnier than regular syrups, but that didn’t bother me. I use the raspberry syrup on fruit and the butterscotch on protein pancakes and in porridge. I haven’t noticed an aftertaste as some mention, but they are very sweet, so a little goes a long way. I would highly recommend and look forward to ordering other flavours in the future.

I bought the chocolate and the pineapple & coconut, the chocolate syrup tastes good, it has a runny texture, the pineapple & coconut smells really great, has a nice and goey texture but the flavour is really dull.
Goes Well With:
Pancakes, cookies, brownies, you name it.
