Good but can feel a bit dry after a few bites

Great brownies
5Tastes great so makes for a great regular brownie substitute, if not a little dry - although this is to be expected with protein products - can be remedied by eating alongside something like ice cream (as a treat of course) or even just having a drink alongside it!

Protein Brownies
5I was expecting this product to be dry and chewy however much to my delight they were soft and very chocolately. The taste is great, if you have a sweet tooth like myself I highly recommend buying these Goes Well With:Anything (probably even ketchup)

Pretty nice...but
3I got these free as part of a recent deal, so can't be too displeased, and they are certainly chocolatey enough (maybe even a bit too much). On first impression the brownie looks good, is moist, smells good and not too far from any other brownie. However, my God are they dense! Seriously, I had to drink a couple of pints of milk to help get the first one down - and their density gives them an odd sort of claggy and grainy texture. I'm sure they hit the mark for protein content, which is the point I guess, but I struggled to eat this without chopping it up into more manageable chunks! I'm no baker so I don't know how you could pack the protein in and make them a little bit lighter - perhaps a smaller sized bar would be an improvement? Would I buy these? Probably not to be honest, they're not my cup of tea, but others might love them. Goes Well With:Lots and lots of liquid!

protein brownie
4the first time I tasted the brownie I thought they were tasty but a bit heavy in texture, and thought I would not get them again. but as I had received a free box of twelve ( great value by way ) I did have a couple more over the next few days and they have grown on me. I now enjoy them with a lovely cup of tea. cheers coopzGoes Well With:a cup of tea.
