Rubbish
1I thought I’d give this a go as it had good reviews. I found it tasted awful and had no effect whatsoever. It is a shame as all the other MP products are good quality.Goes Well With:Bin

5Raspberry and cranberry intra workout tastes lovely and isn’t sickly at all either, helps give me that extra boost to power through my workouts! Goes Well With:Water

What you need to push through
5I don't normally write reviews but if you do any sort of high intensity training this will make you feel the difference. I use it to push myself further through Barry's workouts (aggressive HIT) and my performance during the 60 minutes is noticeably different with or without it. I have the tropical flavour and it's not the best but not the worst by any means. I use slightly less than recommended in a 1L bottle and it's just like tropical squash.

Intra hydration
4After buying this and finding a giant scoop in it I contacted myprotein by email and telephone to question the actual amount of servings in 500g pouch but didn't get any helpful feedback as they didn't know about the products. 10+ yrs ago you used to phone them and every person u spoke to knew the range inside and out and were helpful but now...... There's 13 servings in 500g pouch as I measured them out. I now just take half a scoop and add cyclic dextrin and the whey which I already had and it's perfect. Not too sweet and gives me a huge boost to my workouts allowing me to keep the same intensity until the end of my workouts. I noticed especially back when England was like Africa heat that when I was sweating tons at work and most of the day this really helped replace any lost minerals and was superb at rehydrating me and quenching my thirst. I have the cranberry and raspberry flavour and it's tasty. Will buy another bag and just keep taking half a scoop at a time with my added extras. Goes Well With:Cyclic dextrin, the whey, water, dumbbells, sweating, maybe vodka

SWEET!!!
4Too sweet by far. I've resorted to adding just a little bit to my other shakes. It's ideal for covering the taste of greens blends, but again just a dash is enough. Great product on every level except the intensity of the sweetness.

Intra Workout Effectiveness Review
5Definitely makes a difference in terms of workout volume, I'm not so tired using this product toward the end of the weights session now. My wife finds it helps her crossfit sessions too. For me, it works better than the pre-workout formulas. Goes Well With:Creatine

Tropical requires monsoon
5MyProtein's Intra-Workout powder (Tropical flavour) mixes and dissolves well, with little effort. However, the recommended dose of 25g to 400ml water makes the drink incredibly overpowering in flavour and sweetness, the tropical smell punched me on the nose not an appealing sensation. The flavour is strong pineapple at first, some citrus and finishing with what I identify as guava or papaya. The aftertaste lingers and due to its sweetness clawed at my throat increasing my thirst, a monsoon was required to quench it. Diluting the product with an extra 400ml's of water or reducing scoop to a 1/2 or 1/3 of a scoop will make it more palatable but then the gains are lost in dilution. Note, this mix will cling to your drink bottle so use a dedicated bottle as it will taint other drinks after just one use and more than one soapy wash is required to get rid of all residual flavour. For me this is an acquired taste, some will like it, me not so much regardless of its effectiveness.Goes Well With:Lots of Water
