Bleugh
2Tastes absolutely vile, almost like drinking chalk. However, 2 stars because it doesnt make me bloated like whey has been doing I'll try it in recipes rather than just as a drink.Goes Well With:Not spinach!

So glad I'm not a vegan
1I got the unflavoured stuff, i have tried to mask the taste with a number of things with very little success. There is no escaping the texture which is like fine sand. Does the job. It's protein. I wouldn't go for it again if I'm honest at least it's taste will ensure you won't be drinking it when you don't really need to. And no one will be stealing a scoop.Goes Well With:Strong flavours swiftly followed by a glass of water

The worst taste EVER

Easily digested
4The reason I searched for this product was I had started cycling 5 hours a week in addition to upper body strength work and was losing a lot of weight (muscle mass because I've always been lean) and a type of therapist/nutritionist called a kinesiologist recommended I add a protein supplement to help. I've been using this product for more than a year and it's just great. I add it to a daily vegetable based shake consisting of spinach, celery, cucumber, apple or banana or avocado with some milled flax seed. I've tried hemp protein and that's good too but a bit stronger taste. I also add Pea protein to high fruit and nut oat based cereal and that makes the cereal taste better for me. I'm still lean but my weight has increased to a point that I'm happy with. Goes Well With:Vegetable/fruit smoothies and cereals to add protein.

Please Read
5Gonna keep this short and sweet. This is a great product but the taste is horrendous. Tastes like wet cardboard. Mix it with 1 small tablespoon of cocoa powder (not hot chocolate, it has to be pure cacao powder. And add in1 tablespoon of honey. Trust me, it tastes so much better. It will be much easier to drink. Goes Well With:Cocoa and Honey

I didn't know whether I should drink it or plaster the walls with it
5A good way to get some vegan protein and this is the main thing. However, the taste !!! When I opened the bag it smelt like wall plaster. When I mixed it with water and tasted it, it had the consistency and taste of wall plaster. I have since tried mixing it with soya milk and the taste is slightly better but still to be endured. It is also very gritty. I'll use it all but whether i'll buy more is undecided, especially as it seems quite expensive compared to the whey protein I used to order in my pre vegan days.Goes Well With:A plastering trowel and a bare wall.

Inconsistency
2I originally purchased this in a 1kg bag. The item was a little gritty but easy to mix and went down easy enough. I've since purchased it twice and the following two deliveries were like wallpaper paste. They were ultra smooth, sickly and took a gallon of water to get to a drinkable level. Something is definitely not right but MP don't seem to want to acknowledge it.Goes Well With:Wallpaper!

Excellent product
5May not taste as good as dairy products but this stuff is better for you in the long run. Excellent source of plant based protein for those who want to keep away from animal based proteins and dairy products. Can't fault it.

Pea Protein
5Excellent. I found this very easy to mix and virtually flavourless. Excellent value compared to store bought versions. Will buy again :-)

Strong vegan taste
5It has strong pea post-tase. While you are drinking it is ok, but 1-2 sec after your swallow... Recomended with other sweat taste. Not recomended as a standalone product.Goes Well With:Creatine monohydrate
