You get what you pay for

Love the vanilla taste, although the product doesn't mix well at all. I tried both water and Milk in 2 different shakers and it takes around 10 minutes to fully mix after waiting for the foam to disappear and then shaking again. It does the job in terms of protein intake and value for money - after all it is only a supplement to your diet and you can't expect a bag of Miracle Grow for the price it comes at. Compared to other products I wouldn't pick this, but compared to other products in its price range its definitely up there.

Instant Oats - Mixes the same with or without the oats and adds some flavour to the oats too.

"I purchased the unflavoured option as it is good value. I was a little worried about what it would taste like but decided I could try flavouring it myself. Well I'm glad I purchased this, I do tend to make mine thick in a small glass and mix with a fork so I have had no problems with mixabilty of this protein. I use water and I add different ingredients to flavour each time I make it, but just a simple idea is adding two or three tsp's of a natural sweetener which is enough to make it taste nice. I will be buying this again, great product!"

"best £10 ive ever spent, this is my new product of choice, and i dont think i,ll be going back to normal whey anytime soon. the fact that its only 60% protein doesnt bother me at all, i eat more than enough protein through diet alone to cover me, i use protein powders as healthy milkshakes, and to cure a sweet tooth. i get unflavored and use mp,s flavdrops. its much thicker than impact whey, but it isnt gloppy like true whey, so this has perfect consistancy. its smooth like milk. another thing i love about whey 60 is you get a really frothy head on it, like a pint of stout, in fact if you mixed this stuff up with ground coffee and a touch of molasses, you wouldnt be far off a protein guinness. whey 60 allows me to be creative (as do all mp products) which is why i come back week after week, year after year. keep it up MP dont change a thing! "As I'm not a die-hard gym fanatic, I decided to move from paying over the odds for "branded" shakes and give this a go. All the bells and whisles of some of the other brands doesn't really apply to me as I just needed a more cost-effective way of getting a good amount of protein in me while I exercise. Mixability: Fairly poor really, had to choke down a lot of lumps as the shaker seemed to make no difference when mixing. I started using a simple hand blender, a couple of pulses in the shaker and it was a smooth as you like! Still a bit foamy but nothing too bad. Taste: Well I bought unflavoured so can't much comment. There's a slight creamy after-taste which isn't all that bad. Effectiveness: So far this shake seems to doing ok, I've only been using this one a couple of weeks but the decent enough protein content 2-3 times a day will suit me fine. Overall: Quite pleased in all honesty. Price was very good and the product arrived swiftly. No complaints!"

"I've only just purchased this product, but I must say, for the price (I bought the 2.5kg one) you get quite a bit for your money. Best thing so far is the taste. To me, it tastes like melted ice cream (this is the vanilla flavour, mixed with 300ml of semi skimmed milk and one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil in a blender) . About £10 cheaper than the previous shake I was using, and tastes better, so I'm happy. Just hope I see good gains too :)"

"I cant really fault this product, I accidentally ordered unflavoured and was expecting it to taste like battery acid. The taste isn't perfect but far from bad (at the end of the day its their to do a help muscle mass, not to taste nice). Mixability was an issue as it is very cohesive when wet ( the outer layer forms a barrier preventing water getting to the rest of the powder, I solved this by mixing it with dried skimmed milk and creatine, separating the particles. Overall, the product has really helped boost my diet intake of both carbs and protein in a really balanced an effective way, all for a very very reasonable cost. "

"Great for recovery and putting on health weight without all the additives of other mixtures. Previous reviews were right in saying that this protein foams up very quickly. However the foam settles better when mixed with water. The 'unflavored' taste is OK and in relation to it's cost, it's worth the sacrifice. I used to buy and do prefer Impact Whey, but due to finance this product stands out and offers a great protein/carbohydrate ratio for efficient recovery. "

"Mixability is a bit poor if you use a shaker however if you use a spoon or something similar it mixes just fine, as for taste it is fantastic, fantastic product for the price!!!!"
