New packaging horrible taste
1Originally I thought it was just me getting a dodgy packet, but after reading other reviews sadly MP have changed the quality of this once enjoyable collagen powder. This new batch has a different colour and tastes awful. Will NOT be purchasing again.Goes Well With:The bin

New formula
1I have been enjoying the vanilla flavour for years, but the new formulation is awful. Smells bad, and tastes even worse!

So disappointed, tastes disgusting!
1Have tried lots of different MyProtein products and this has to be the worst. Bought the unflavoured version to try and avoid the sweetness but the taste and texture is absolutely vile!

Bring back the old unflavoured stuff!
1The old unflavoured collagen was the best! But this new batch is rancid, as other reviewers have also said its now a strange yellow off color and the taste is awful in my morning brew

Waste of money
1Got it and picked chocolate taste, the taste is soooo bad that I just can’t take more than 1 sup of it it is just disgusting

Product has changed
1Last unflavoured batch I bought was probably the best collagen I have ever tried but the most recent one I just bought is terrible. Smells nasty, different texture ang colour and tastes absolutely disgusting. I used to put a scoop in my coffee and could barely taste it, now it makes the coffee undrinkable. MP should make it very clear when a product is radically changed and give an option of a taster because the 1kg I just bought is going to have to go in the bin. Very disappointing and I would strongly recommend avoiding this product.Goes Well With:Nothing anymore but just about everything in the previous version

Change of package and change of flavour too!
1I have used this product for several years. Sadly since the package has changed the product has changed too. It's not even near what it was. The new updated version of this product has an awful and sharp taste and smells unpleasant too. It leaves you with a bad after taste too. It's a real shame as I used to love the old product. Goes Well With:It used to to go well with most drinks but not anymore!

New packaging = Discussing NEW taste
1Used this for a while now and absolutely loved it, BUT since the package has changed so has the product. Description on web site states it’s the same products and I can assure you it is NOT the same. It’s gone from totally unflavoured white powder and now a yellow clumpy smelly powder with a bad taste and bad after taste. If you like the smell of smelly socks and curry mixed together you’ll enjoy this one. Refund given BUT I can’t buy any more because it’s now all the same smelly product. Gutted Goes Well With:Nothing! Old version went with ANYTHING it would mix into, was totally tasteless.

Best protein powder
5I love this collagen protein powder! I bought it because I had a painful hip and knee out of nowhere and collagen can apparently help with joint pain, well after about 2 weeks I've been pain-free ever since! My guts love this protein too, which cannot be said for other Whey or Pea-based protein powders! mixes like a dream too, the unflavoured has a mild aftertaste that can be solved just by mixing it with something strongly flavored. I've had this mixed into coffee, soups, and even curry! It is completely undetectable and adds a nice thickness to soups and sauces. I just ordered my 2nd bag and plan to take it long-term.
