1Lessons learned - I saw the stars and thought they might be ok. But once you read the reviews you see the truth! I bit into one and it was like eating chalk - I'm surprised powder didn't fly out of my mouth when I recoiled in horror. The only benefit is that you won't rush to snack on these..that's for sure! Simply awful
1For the love of God, will someone at MP please read customer reviews and act on them? The number of negative reviews of this product continues to grow, and yet ... this.... thing... is still here! The original recipe for this bar was the best protein bar on the planet. Now it is the worst. What happened? Did some marketing wonk decide the need to capture the vegan market sector was more important than making a tasty, nutritious bar that everyone loves? The taste is dusty, metallic, cloying and bland all in one go. I really don't care if it is made from sustainable hemp grown by recycled hippies on a carbon-neutral eco-farm. It needs to taste good!Goes Well With:A whiny, bitchy review on the MP site. An order from Vibe snack bars.

Not good since recipe changed
2These used to be my favourite, however they changed the recipe and now they're chalky and cheap. The toppings don't eve stick to the chocolate anymore, they just flake off as soon as the wrapper opens. Not enjoyable anymore - shame as it's hard to get a nice vegan protein bar.Goes Well With:Water to get it down as it's so dry

1I’ve liked everything I’ve ever bought from MP, until these. I’m glad it was a free sample or I’d have had my money back. If I was vegan I’d change my mind and be straight to McDonalds. These taste like I imagine the dust out of your hoover tastes, and with the same texture. Ashy, bland and so far removed from resembling food. I want a refund for the calories I wasted, is that a thing? Goes Well With:Toothpaste, a toothbrush and mouthwash.

Really good
5By now I have tried all the flavours and since that's really a personal choice, for me the peanut butter and choc sea salt are the ones (banofee had a weird texture and too overpowering banana flavour). And yeah all of them are a bit dry in the center, with the peanut butter one having a strong pea flavour, but really manageable (definately don't need a jug of milk to wash it down like quite a lot of other protein bars I have tried over the years). Not really sweet too. All in all, really good on the go snack MP - nice work!Goes Well With:Coffee

I really like this, steal my bfs all the time
5I'm surprised this has so many 1star reviews. It's the nicest thing MP make in my opinion. The texture is my fave, like chocolate nougat. And the taste is really delicious too. To be honest I came here to buy another box for myself but saw the reviews and thought to add one. I eat one and have loads of energy to go on my daily walks. Not sure if it's meant to be used like that, but still nice. Try it.Goes Well With:Glass of oat milk. Just before a walk.

Depends on which one you get
4I have now tried the banoffee, chocolate sea salt and chocolate orange flavours of these bars. Banoffee is definitely the top one out of all of these, its not dry and has lovely little chocolate chips on top, the flavour is great and not strongly of banana at all if that is a worry for you! Close second is chocolate orange, only had a sample of it but it was great and similar to the banoffee in terms of texture. It has a mild orange taste which is really nice. Lastly is the chocolate sea salt. Wish I got a sample of this as I now have a box of 12 which I didn't really enjoy. Doesn't really taste like chocolate or sea salt, it's much dryer than the other 2 and is topped with cacao nibs which I find quite bitter and don't really like. Overall, not a fan of the chocolate sea salt but would definitely repurchase the other two.

1This was absolutely disgusting. Despite the bad reviews I had a little faith and decided not to trust the majority of people moaning about it. I definitely learnt my lesson. So dry and literally feels like eating dust. Please avoid if you don't want to have more thanhalf a box of unwanted protein bars
