When to take?
Our incredibly tasty Protein Pancakes are a perfect alternative for what is usually an unhealthy supermarket selection. Protein Pancake Mix is ideal for those who are striving to increase daily protein intake, but don’t want the hassle of making pancakes from scratch. Generally used for breakfast, they can also be a tasty snack in between meals or as a nutritious dessert. And that’s not all! You can add fruit, nuts, yoghurts or even Myprotein spreads, like our amazing Almond or Cashew Butter.

To make your own protein packed pancakes simply add 2 large scoops (50g) to 100-150ml milk or water and mix together. Heat a frying pan over a high heat and add a small amount of oil/butter then reduce to a medium heat and add the batter to the pan and cook. As a massive foodie this mid morning meal really hits the spot. 100% luxury. At first i didn't really think much of the pancake mix but with my experience as a chef I decided to persist and managed to perfect it! Here's how: 50g Pancake Mix (I use the maple syrup) 125ml water (this may look a bit thin when added but trust me on this ;) ) Optional: Dried/fresh fruit and/or nuts (make sure you cut the fruit up into little bits and crumble the nuts) 15g Mascapone 25ml Apro Hazelnut milk Heat a non stick pan to hot/very hotBreak down any lumps in the pancake powder with the whisk before adding the water. There is no need for any oil/butter/spray oil, they will not stick. Pour in the water all at once and whisk for say 30 seconds until smooth. Pour half of the mix into the pan evenly (making sure the pan is flat). Sprinkle on half of your prepared nuts and/or fruit. Now here's the important bit: make sure you only cook the first side jsut to the point where it starts to pubble and theres still a little liquid ontop. Now using a spatula, carefully flip it over. The pancake is now 90% cooked. Cook the second side now for literally a few second, this way the its still going to be nice and moist inside as the pancake has still maintained it's moisture. Repeat again for the second pancake. Now I like to mix the mascapone and hazelnut milk until it starts to froth. Then pour over the top (this makes the pancake super moist). I get a bag of the golden syrup mix every order and I can tell you that this pancake mix must have been made from ground angel wings, a pinch of pure happiness and a dusting of Megan Fox because these are positively delightful! 250ml of skimmed milk, 4 level scoops of mixture and you will have noises coming from your mouth that should be reserved for the bedroom!! Keep the pan heat reasonably low, mix one scoop at a time into the milk and the consistency is perfect every time! They will keep you full for hours and get your protein intake going first thing in the most enjoyable way! Top with pure peanut butter and you will refuse any other pancake again! I like to take mine at breakfast, but the girlfriend likes them cold for lunch as well! Take your pick! The only regret is that your bank balance will never be the same again after ordering over and over again! Perfecto! Goes Well With:Peanut butter, banana, coffee, anything!
Like all pancakes, the first couple you make you always chuck away and it's nodifferent here. Found the first one far too thick, added a bit extra water and then used a smaller frying pan and boom, perfection! These were quick and easy to make, however i only used one scoop with milk as i found it was enough for breakfast, tasty and filling. Simply addded one scoop to my shaker bottle, add milk, shake, then add to frying pan, literally that easyGoes Well With:banana and my protein peanut butter

I was looking for something filling, and something high in protein that could replace toast. I enjoy bacon and eggs in the morning, but having toast increases my carb intake and doesn't give me the protein I need. I've had bacon and pancakes with maple syrup before and its amazing. Decided to get a small pouch of this first. Smelled a bit weird when mixed, but when cooked. Its exactly like a regular pancake with maple syrup. If you like maple syrup and pancakes, get this one. I sometimes go with half the serving and 90ml of milk or double up. They only problem I have with them is cooking the top, so I just put the frying pan under the grill until just before it goes brown.Goes Well With:Bacon strips Egg
I bought this mixture first time and fell in love with it! Very easy to make, Ive got the syrup taste, some might say its to sweet but it diffenetly kills my cravings. If the pan is too hot it bubbles up, took me some time to get the right heat of the pan but now i have perfect pancakes. Quite filling as well, could not eat more then two, got about 5 out of one portion of mixture. Sometimes i fill it with cottage cheese or strawberries. Heavenly worth buying!!! Goes Well With:cottage cheese, plain yoghurt or any fresh fruit.

You've got to put alot of extra in to make the unflavoured pancakes taste of anything other than an omlette I'd save some money and use eggs and a scoop of protein powder..Goes Well With:Banana. Berries. Cocoa powder
I have the maple syrup flavor pancake mix and it is amazing! Especially if you have a sweet tooth. The only downfall is that they might be a bit TOO sweet. I admit that I get a bit bored with my entirely savory diet and these hit the spot! I couldn't have ate another sweet thing all day! Goes Well With:Chopped banana in the mixture - IT CARAMELIZES!

I don't usually write reviews...but OH MY GOD THESE ARE GOOD. MyProtein has really outdone themselves! I bought the golden syrup flavour and they are so tasty! Mixed with 125ml of water and made cute American pancakes (2 scoops got me around 5 pancakes). Only 186 Cals and I was stuffed! They're so filling too! Perfect for anyone who wants a bit more protein or trying to lose weight!! Delicious with some chocolate PB2 as well! BONUS: if you mix 4 scoops with some water and PB and bake at 165 for 20 mins you get a tasty cake! Goes Well With:They're nice hot and cold! Jam, PB2, fruit, Nutella (if you're being cheeky)
This reminds me of the problem with alcohol-free beer. They taste disgusting. So if you fancy a beer then have a beer. I bought the maple syrup version of this mix. Waaay too sweet; artificial tasting and poor texture when cooked. If you fancy a pancake then have a pancake.

As other reviewers have said, very tasty once you perfect your own formula. Good to see others putting up what they put with theirs so here's mine. I usually do the mixture the night before and have it for breakfast as I am up at 0445 on work days. Firstly I put approx 250ml of semi-skimmed milk in my smoothie mixer. Then I use 2 scoops (50g) of pancake mix and 2 scoops (80g) of instants oats and 2 tsp of cinnamon. I mix for around 20secs. This will make 2 medium pancakes for me. A few mins each side on the frying pan and all is perfect. I top the first pancake with 1 chopped banana and some MySyrup. The second pancake I spread a small amount of Nutella on and 1 tsp of honey and place on top of the first pancake. I may replace the Nutella with the chocolate MySyrup at some point to This is a great start to my day every day! The whole portion is approx 850kcal, 115g Carbs, 19g Fat (6g sat fat) and 52g Protein. First time making these but will definately be ordering again. I usually make my own protein pancakes from scratch; with protein powder, banana, milk, eggs... but these were far easier and overall less carbs! Flavour was good but was a little dry for my first attempt, I'm sure they'll get better once I play about with it, maybe adding some crushed bananas. Overall though was really pleased with the product and would definately reccomebe the maple flavour - great for a sweet snack at anytime!Goes Well With:Bacon & maple syrup!
Just baked 100g of this stuff in the oven, 4 Scoops 300ml liquid half water, half skimmed milk added some cinnamon. Small baking tin greased with coconut oil. Gas mark 6, 30 minutes. Amazing cake for a pudding served with protein custard.Goes Well With:Protein Custard
