Beta-Hydroxy Beta-Methylbutyrate, or more commonly known by its abbreviation HMB, is a metabolite of the branch chain amino acid leucine.
Growing in popularity since the 1990s, HMB is now widely used in many ‘all-in-one’ products. So why not try creating your own? Our HMB is made for this.
We recommend adding HMB to our Impact Whey Protein, as protein contributes to the maintenance growth and maintenance of muscle mass, or creatine monohydrate, with a daily intake of 3g, can increase physical performance in bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise.
Please note that the labeling on this product is provided in English as a minimum. French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Swedish and Finnish may also be present on a product by product basis.
Add your preferred amount of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Then add 1g, shake and consume. Use 3 times daily.
Note: We advise that all servings are measured using an accurate set of scales. While we make every attempt to provide an accurate equivalent measure using our Myprotein scoops, these are only approximate and are not a substitute for using a standardised measuring device.
Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. This product is a food supplement and therefore should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store in a cool dry place, out of the reach of young children.

Got to say this is the worst tasting supplement I've ever ingested, thought BCAA's powder was bad till I had this! It is effective though so will continue to take.
This tastes HORRIBLE. But it will increase your strength as well as overal muscle mass. beware that you will retain a bit of water if you take it so keep your water intake up
This supplement is something that will be a steady in my supplement stack forever. Not for the taste. The taste i horrible! But it works! 2 weeks in and i stopped getting doms. Stopped completely. So far i've suffered badly from doms, even after the smallest of workouts. But once it's in my system it just stops. One of my favorite products.Goes Well With:Anything you can get down fast
"I have been using MP HMB for a few weeks now and along with CEE, whey and BCAA's, I am making damn good progress! I don’t understand why so many people are moaning like little girls about the taste? Just spoon a bit in your mouth and wash it back with some quality H2O. Simple! It really annoys me when people moan about the taste when MP products are so reasonably price and are of extremely good quality! They are supplements designed to enhance your performance...not appease your taste buds! I will rant no more! Good stuff and I am reaping the rewards. Thanks MP"
Don't mix it into your whey. HMB, I found, was fantastic for DOMS, but don't mix it with your whey. As soon as it arrives, smell it. Then taste it. Then be scared of it. I once tried shotting this with cod liver oil. It's got that bad of a taste. Goes Well With:Self-hate, things that already taste bad, etc
I got the unflavoured pack... Defiantly NOT flavourless. Foul taste, that stays in your mouth. Going to keep going with it after reading all the good reviews about its effectiveness but I don't think I'll be buying this again.
Appears to be working, although I'm taking other supplements too. Defo less DOMS and feel stronger, all while losing body fat. The taste is awful, do not mix with your shakes. Only way I can drink this is with a tiny amount of water and strong squash and neck it back like a shot, that way you can hardly taste it.Goes Well With:A shot size amount of 50% water / 50% squash.
It's ok, seems to work. Had no scoop inside pack so difficult in judging 1g or 6th of a teaspoon. Goes Well With:Mixed it with protein powder
My regime (exercise and calorie intake) has pretty much stayed the same over the last month apart from using this supplement (3times per day as instructed), and I'd say I've noticed more muscle and less fat on me. I'm a hard gainer and this has impressed me so far.Goes Well With:instant oats, unflavored whey and creatine mono
"I'm a first time buyer on this site & ordered this and creatine on Sat 5th Sept 09 and it came on Tues 8th Sept so good shipping(i went for the cheapest to see how long it would take) will let you all know how it goes and everyone says the HMB has bad taste, It's not bad to be honest you can hardly taste anything and creatine is taste free good good!!"
"Got some the other day with great service from MP. It smells like White Gloss paint which is pretty weird but doesn't taste too bad (definately not as bad as Creatine Ethyl Ester). You need to give it a good stir to get it to mix though. Only been on the stuff for a couple of days so cant comment on the effects just yet. However, after researching the product I would say it is definately worth trying it out."
MyProtein supplements are good for our overall health. Daily intake of protein help in reducing fat from our body. Today we will discuss about benefits of protein in our body.Protein is in the spotlight these days, with articles touting diets high in protein and advertisements for protein powders in the media. Protein is, of course, an important building block in the body, but it is not the only building block. And furthermore, protein is made up of a variety of substances, with the result that not all protein sources are equal in value. Here are some of the facts about proteins Protein is essential to a healthy heart and a healthy body; animal sources of protein including eggs are better for you nutritionally since they contain all of the essential amino acids; as with most nutrients and vitamins, both too much and too little protein have detrimental effects on the body; and, protein cannot be stocked up like fat but must be eaten daily. Protein is the basic nutrient and plays an essential role in carrying cholesterol and preventing heart disease. The human body in its complexity needs dozens of nutritive substances. The one that stands before all others is protein, or proteins, since there is not one but hundreds of kinds of protein. Here’s what protein contributes We are literally made of protein from our bones to our muscles, arteries and veins, skin, hair, and fingernails. Our heart, brain, liver, kidneys, and lungs are built of tissue made of proteins.Proteins help carry the oxygen that reddens our blood. In the form of enzymes, proteins digest our food, synthesize essential substances, and break down waste products for elimination. When fat and carbohydrates are insufficient, proteins produce the energy we need for life.Proteins in combination with a substance called sterols form hormones, which regulate the delicate chemical changes that constantly take place within the body. The chromosomes, which pass on our characteristics to our children, include protein in their structure.Protein is needed to carry fat and cholesterol throughout the body.
My protein supplements are the building blocks which provide high quality protein to our body.Vegetarian sources of proteins include legumes, nuts, seeds and fruits. Legumes, some of which are called pulses in certain parts of the world, have higher concentrations of amino acids and are more complete sources of protein than whole grains and cereals. Examples of vegetarian foods with protein concentrations greater than seven percent include soybeans, lentils, kidney beans, white beans, mung beans, chickpeas, cowpeas, lima beans, pigeon peas, lupines, wing beans, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, walnuts, cotton seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds. My protein company shared today how much protein intake is necessary for an individual. The U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines recommend a protein intake of 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. Bodybuilders and athletes need more than this baseline amount. Heavy lifters might need as much as 2 grams per kilogram -- almost a gram per pound -- for optimal muscle growth. While protein isn't the only macronutrient you need for bodybuilding, it's essential to the process. Proteins are the bricks with which your body builds muscle.
I am very happy with the results. I have recommended it to all my friends. Highly satisfied !Goes Well With:Water

Good product. Gave me that effect had been expected.Goes Well With:Offered to try from myside
I can see what the product is doing, but it does taste like eating a stick of chalk. If i mix it in an electric mixer and add juice it does disguise the horrid taste, but the benefits will be told at the end of the month.
