Apple Protein Crumble and Custard, Ok so when reading below it may seem like a big effort but one – Its definitely worth it and two – you can make in bulk and freeze the different parts then make a little treat as and when you want one.
For the Crumble:
Ingredients
- 75 g Instant Oats
- 50 g Impact Whey Protein
- 75 g Kamut Flour
- 25 g Salted Caramel Impact Whey Protein
- 15 g Seed Mix
- 15 g Sweetener
- 100 g Almond Butter
- 50 g Coconut Oil
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp. Cinnamon
Instructions
In a bowl add all the ingredients and rub the mixture between your fingertips until it looks like large bread crumbs, the lumpier the better say it will give good crumble consistency.
Lay the mix onto a baking tray and cook on a medium heat for 25-35 minutes until golden brown.
This will keep for 2 weeks in an air tight container.

Custard
You will need:
Myprotein - Milk Protein Smooth Vanilla - 60 grams4 Egg Yolks
Sweetener - 10g
Whole Milk - 350ml
Vanilla pod/ extract
How to make:
To a pan add the milk bring to the boil, reduce the heat and then pour in the 4 egg yolks, sweetener and vanilla keep stirring the mixture should start to thicken
(Note if the mixture does not thicken a small amount of corn flour can be added)
Once the Custard is mixed together remove from the heat and add the Protein powder
This will keep for 2 days in the fridge

Apple Sauce
You will need:
Small apples – 4
Sweetener – 7g
All Spice -2 Tsp
How to make:
Take two apples and chop thinly place in a pan with 3 tbsp of boiling water and bring to the boil.
Cut the remaining 2 apples into 1cm sized cubes
Once the apples in the pan are soft mash and add the sweetener and All spice, then keeping on a medium heat add the cubed apples and leave cooking until semi-soft.
This will keep for 5 days in the fridge or 6 months in the freezer
