Our Work Out From Home series is here to help you stay on track with your fitness goals even when the gym isn’t an option. Whether you’re completely new to this or no stranger to a heart-hammering session, these workouts are perfect for all levels of ability.

This week, we got bodybuilder Tom Johnson on board to take us through an explosive 20-minute home leg workout.

It’s a challenging bodyweight session with intervals of cardio to keep your heart rate raised, helping you to blast through calories as you build strength.

No equipment needed — get ready for burning quads and aching glutes!

Lauren is an English Literature graduate originally from the South. She’s always loved swimming, has discovered the power of weight training over the past few years, and has lots of room for improvement in her weekly hot yoga class.

On the weekends she’s usually cooking or eating some kind of brunch, and she enjoys trying out new recipes with her housemates – especially since shaking off student habits, like mainly surviving off pasta. Above all, she’s a firm believer in keeping a balance between the gym and gin.
