Make sleepy starts a little bit sweeter.

A twist on the classic jam doughnut, these baked oats warm and comforting on cold mornings and oozing with a jammy centre. Brimming with 20g of protein and at just 228kcal, these are a great brekkie for anyone with weight loss and muscle gain goals.

Ingredients

Instructions

1.

First, preheat the oven to 180C.

2.

Then, in a bowl, mix the oats, protein powder, and baking powder together until combined.

3.

Next, add the yoghurt and milk to the mixture, and whisk until smooth and lump free.

4.

Scoop three quarters of the mixture into a ramekin and make a well in the middle using a teaspoon.

5.

Place your jam of choice in the middle and then cover with the rest of the mixture.

6.

Top by sprinkling with sweetener, then place in the centre of the oven to bake for 20 minutes.

7.

When it’s ready, dig in. But be careful — hot jam can feel hotter than molten lava on your tongue.
