Looking for a DIY energy snack which will give you a kick in the right direction?
This chocolate coconut bar is easy to make, super tasty and packed with nutrients and natural colouring.
If you're a green-eyed monster, swap the beetroot powder for matcha and infuse some green into your no-bake bars!
Ingredients

- 200 ml Coconut Milk
- 80 ml Maple Syrup
- 4 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 Pinch Of Salt
- 110 g Grated Coconut
- 1 tsp Beetroot Powder
- 200 g Dark Chocolate
Method
#1 Pour the milk into a saucepan with the coconut oil, maple syrup and salt. Heat over a low heat.
#2 Remove from the heat, add the grated coconut and the beetroot powder and mix well to form a dough.
#3 Place your dough in the bottom of a silicone cake tin and place in the freezer for 2 hours.
#4 Cut into bars and then cover with melted dark chocolate.
#5 Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set
#6 Tuck in!
