When you need a sweet pick me up, this Banana Choc Chip Bread is a sure winner - also good for any occasion!
With its low sugar content and added protein it’s a treat you really can afford to eat!
Ingredients
- 1 - Medium Banana
- 30g Coconut Oil
- 1 scoop (30g) Milk Protein smooth
- 1 Egg
- 8g Stevia
- 150g Self raising flour
- 30g Milk Chocolate Chip
- 150ml Milk (Skimmed or Almond)
Method
1) To a bowl add all the dry ingredients – Protein powder, stevia, flour and choc chips
2) With a fork mash the banana into a pulp
3) Melt the coconut oil and mix together with the banana and a beaten egg
4) Mix the wet and dry mixture together then add the milk if the mix seems thick add more milk
5) Then pour into a baking paper lined tin and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes on 180oC until golden brown
6) Once cooled cut into portion sizes it will last 2 -3 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer
