Very intense chocolate hit!
I bought these to curb my 3pm cadbury craving. The buttons are very nice and provide a very intense bitter chocolate taste which is great if you're a lover of very dark chocolate. These will last a long time for me as 2 buttons is enough to get me through the mid afternoon chocolate melt down and doesn't send my blood sugar through the roof.Goes Well With:A cup of coffee
Report this reviewGreat stuff and price
First off, these are the best price I have found. I use them as additions to my daily green smoothies or then to make my own regular or hot chocolate or chocolate glaze for various treats. I used to buy liquor pieces, randomly sized, which was a pain for smoothies as they needed to be cut. Buttons are very convenient.Goes Well With:smoothies, ingredient for home-made chocolate
Report this reviewYum
They are bitter but you'll get used to them after a short period of regular consumption. As a regular snack I melt them in the microwave for 30 seconds and it makes a perfect chocolate spread on toast or pancakes. Goes Well With:Toast. Pancakes. Hot Chocolate
Report this reviewIntense and Strong
The difference between these and milk chocolate buttons reminds me of the different between a strong espresso and a latte. It took me a few tries to really appreciate the deliciously intense cocoa flavour of these buttons which is masked by the bitterness. We expect our chocolate to be packed with sugar and diluted with milk, so my taste buds took a moment to adjust. But now I crave the intense bitter flavour like you would want something sour (or indeed a strong espresso). Probably not for people who don't like dark chocolate though (unless you are mixing/combining with something else). Small chunks in place of chocolate chips in recipes are excellent, or melt it and go drizzle mad.Goes Well With:Porridge, flapjacks, cookies, melted and drizzled over lots of stuff.
Report this reviewGreat cacao buttons
These are exactly what you'd expect, just great tasting cacao buttons. No more, no less.Goes Well With:Porridge, baking, etc.
Report this reviewGreat for Baking
These buttons are a healthy vegan alternative to melt down or chop into baking or just eat raw! Also great to melt on the hob with vegan milk for a lovely hot chocolate.Goes Well With:Baked goods
Report this reviewCacoa
Good quality, good price, good flavour, melts easily or can add straight into dish Goes Well With:Baking, hot chocolate and even added to spicy dishes for rich deep flavour
Report this reviewExcellent quality & great taste
I bought these to try them out & Iv not been disappointed! They taste amazing, I only eat dark chocolate, as I don't eat sugar, so finding pure chocolate is difficult. This tastes 10 times better than the batons from hc, they are a brilliant chocolate taste and are very versatile. Goes Well With:A coffee, baking, & drizzling
Report this reviewYum
Have a couple of these in my porridge, use them for baking or even just for something sharp to dip in coffee - bitter and delicious!
Report this reviewTasty
2nd bag bought, love how easy it is to use simply as a chocolate substitute eg in baking!
