Turkey Hot Balls

 

For a quick, tasty snack try these Turkey Hot Balls!
They can be as spicy as you like and the convenience of always having a healthy snack in the fridge is great for any training program, Simple to make and easy to transport give them a go, you will not be disappointed!

 

You will need:

1350kg Turkey mince (x3 packs of 450g)

1 egg

2 Handfuls of shedded Spinach

100g – Myprotein Rolled Oats

1/2 tsp – Paprika

1/2 tsp – Dried Basil

2 tsp – black pepper

1 tsp – salt

2 Crushed garlic cloves

1 small red onion (finely chopped)

2 celery stalks (finely chopped)

1 Chilli (Optional)

12 case Muffin Tray

 

Turkey Hot Balls

 

Method:

Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix together until it makes a large ball, Spray the tray with 1 Cal stray.

 

Next

Take a handful of mixture, roll into a ball the size of a tennis ball and drop into the muffin tray (don’t press down)

Once all the mixture has been put into the tray evenly, add to the oven on a medium heat (around 180) for 25 – 35 Minutes until golden brown on top and thoroughly cooked in the middle.

Leave to one side to cool and then put into food bags for convenience

 

They last for 2-3 days in the fridge and 3 months in the freezer.
