HEALTHY DESSERT: Protein Bread and Custard Pudding

Protein Bread and Custard Pudding


Protein bread and custard pudding is a real treat and also makes use of any leftovers! (not that there will be any…)

For an extra protein boost, use the Promilk to provide you with an 18g of protein per serving!




– 1 Promilk Bottle (500ml)

– 7 Slices of MyProtein High protein bread

– 28g Custard Powder

– 15g Sweetener

– 100g Mixed dried fruit

– 1tsp Ground Nutmeg




1) Firstly start by mixing the custard powder with 100ml of Promilk then put in a pan and place on a medium heat hob, stir frequently.


2) Next cut all the bread into 4 triangles and take half the bread layering the base of your baking dish and sprinkle with 50g of mixed fruit.


3) Add the rest of the promilk to the custard once thick and mix until it becomes a smooth custard consistency, add the sweetener.


4) Lastly pour half the custard mix over the base layer of bread and build the next layer covering with the rest of the custard and sprinkle with ground nutmeg


5) Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes on 190oC until the top is golden brown
