Baked Tortilla with Spiced Tuna Salad
Our Baked Tortilla with Spiced Tuna Salad is simple quick and easy to make – it can be made at home and wrapped in cellophane using the hard tortilla bowl as a storage container!
This recipe is great addition when cooking for friends; they can eat the bowls after to save on washing up!
1) 1 Tortilla
2) 1 can tinned tuna
3) 1 Tbs mild curry powder
4)1 Tbs light mayo
5) 2 Cups mixed salad
6) ½ Tsp chilli flakes
a) Firstly, to make the crunchy tortilla bowl:
Using any shaped bowl you like, take a tortilla out the packet and place inside the bowl and bake in the oven for 5 – 7 minutes on 170°C until hard, then leave to one side to cool
b) Taking the tinned tuna and add 1 Tbs of curry powder and 1 Tbs of light mayo and mix together
c) Fill the tortilla bowl with mixed salad then pour in the spiced tuna and top with chilli flakes
Storage – Tuna will last for 3 days refrigerated in an air tight container and the tortilla will remain firm for 3-5 days in cellophane
