Freekeh Flour, Beetroot & Smoked Salmon Blinis

Step up your game with this delicious snack, starter or canape recipe.

Perfectly balanced with earthy beetroot and fresh avocado, this dish is sure to impress.


✓ 40g Freekeh Flour

80ml water

✓ Salt and pepper

✓ 1 clove garlic

✓ Dried mixed herbs

✓ 1 tsp. Beetroot Powder

✓ 1 whole egg

✓ Oil for cooking

To serve:

Smoked salmon, salad and avocado


 #1 In a mixing bowl, combine the flour with the water and a generous season of salt, pepper and mixed herbs

#2 Crush in the garlic clove and whisk everything together until smooth. Crack in the egg and mix again

#3 Brush your frying pan with a little oil and pour small dollops of the pancake batter around the pan

#4 Once the pancakes start to bubble, flip and cook them on the other side

#5 Serve the blinis topped with some smoked salmon, avocado and salad leaves
