Baked Breaded Fish

 

Oven Baked Breaded fish has a deliciously crunchy crust and is much healthier than deep fried or shop bought breaded fish and making in bulk can save on the pennies!

 

Time to prepare – 10 minutes

Time to cook – 20-25 minutes

 

You will need:

 

2 Fillet white fish

1 Egg (Beaten)

2 Tbsp flour

2 slices of wholemeal bread (Grated or food processed into breadcrumbs, slightly stale bread works best )

Salt and pepper

1 Tbsp Sesame seeds

 

Method

 

Before you start turn on the oven to 180C

 

Firstly get three plates of –

 

Flour salt and pepper

Beaten egg

Breadcrumbs with sesame seeds

 

Next

 

Taking your fish and dipping all sides into the flour then dip into the beaten egg plate making sure all sides are covered with the egg mixture

 

Lastly

 

Put the fish into the breadcrumb mixture coving all sides then salt and pepper

Place on the baking tray and oven bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

This can be made in advance and left in the fridge for up to 2 days or make in bulk and frozen.
