Almond Protein Oat Ball Recipe
I know how much you all loved my peanut butter protein ball recipe- well this almond butter ball recipe is even better! If you haven’t tried almond butter yet… you’ve got to! I’ve got a peanut butter obsession… so much so that 1kg of the stuff seems to disappear in about a week! So to try and stop this I decided to give almond butter a try… and just like that, I was hooked!
These almond butter oat balls are perfect for a good energy boost and are full of healthy fats from seeds, almond butter and oats. What’s more the white chocolate Impact whey powder makes them supper sweet! Here’s what you’ll need:
4 dried dates
3 scoops of White chocolate impact whey protein (feel free to use another flavour but white chocolate and almond goes together so well!)
100g of oats
2 tablespoons of almond butter
20g of chopped almonds
20g of pumpkin and sunflower seeds
3 teaspoons of melted coconut oil
3-4 tablespoons of water
Chocolate chips (optional)
This recipe is super quick and easy because it requires no baking!
In a food processor combine and blend your dates, almond butter and melted coconut oil.
Combine all your dry ingredients in a bowl.
Add your almond butter/oil/date mixture and mash as much as possible.
Add your water and mix/mash with the back of a fork or spoon.
Using your hands press and roll the mixture into round balls.
Store in a tupperware box and enjoy!
