Forget about low-carb, forget about rice and chicken – my muscles need carbs and pancakes! These pancakes are for those who want some serious boost of energy either before or after workout and replenish the glycogen stores in the muscles quickly. They will provide fast-absorbing carbs and protein and minimal of fat. You can also replace the banana in the recipe with mango if you wish. And if your post-workout appetite is as serious as mine is, you can also drink the batter as a smoothie! That’s real fast food for your body as it doesn’t require much work from the digestive system (and after workout the blood circulation is in the muscles anyway, so the digestive system is temporarily weakened anyway) and it is also fast to make! And so yum!

Macros approximately per portion made with whole eggs (1/4 of the recipe)
*If you don’t have orange flavoured, you can use other flavour too
Blend all the ingredients in blender until smooth. Drink as a smoothie or pour a small amount on a pan (greased with Myprotein Coconut Oil) and cook both sides till golden brown. Repeat with the rest of the batter until you have a lovely stack of pancakes. Serve with fruits and Protein Dessert and dig in.
