Why Should You Be Dating A Fitness Enthusiast?
Firstly, why not? Unless you regularly visit the Olympic village, how many times in your life are you going to date someone with a six pack? If you’re a McDonald’s enthusiast, things are about to change! Fitness fanatics are generally great in the kitchen and impressive in the gym, what’s not to like? You have your very own superhero and personal chef 24/7! So, let’s hear why you should be dating a workout fiend if you’re… well, not so much!
We Like To Eat
Boy, do we like to eat! Whether it’s a steak night, pizza, curry or an innovative recipe, we love food! Don’t even mention snacks, we’re always prepared for those moments you are caught short! Our gym bags, handbags and pockets are generally topped up with protein bars on a daily basis, therefore you will never be hungry!
We Can Cook
We are wizards of the kitchen. We can surprise you with our culinary prowess anytime, day or night. We can also cater to any nutritional plan, and make meals that suit any macro allowance. From low-carb days to refeed days, we have you covered.
We Are Light Hearted
Thanks to those good old endorphins that get realised after a good training session, we tend to be a light hearted, friendly group of folk. We know the benefits of pumping some iron and more often than not if we are stressed or low, we can turn our moods around at the gym.
We Care About Health And Well-Being
Given that exercise has so many benefits on our health, we tend to be quite conscious of our own, and know that results in the gym and good health should go hand in hand. Looking after our health and well-being means one thing, we last a lifetime! This means we will be able to skydive right into our eighties, hike up mountains with a walking stick and swim the pacific, but don’t forget the armbands!
We Will Keep You Motivated
If you are struggling to stay motivated in the gym or with your nutrition, we will give you a shoulder to lean on since we know all too well how tough it can be to stay consistent. We appreciate the daily battles of working out early in the morning or late at night.
We also understand how tough it can be to have setbacks or have to put your journey on hold temporarily. We respect the hard work that goes into training and the dedication that is involved in reaching your goals and we will help every step of the way. You will never be alone!
We’re Up For Most Things
We don’t tend to take ourselves too seriously and we see a lot of fun in most adventures outside the norm. Want to do a zip lining tour of the rainforest? We are there. Hoping to do a tough mudder race? We will love it. Dates for us can range from a trip to the cinema, to well, anything you can think of!
We Can Carry All Your Shopping
An underrated, yet highly useful skill, we are capable of carrying in a full week’s groceries in one trip, including the eggs and milk. We can also carry our own luggage and unload our own weight plates in the gym. We could probably also carry you out of a burning building if the need ever arose.
We Are Independent
As much as we value the company of others, we are also independent too. We know that in order to get results we have to put in the work ourselves. We are going out with you because we want to, not because we are bothered about doing things on our own.
We Are Dedicated
It takes a lot of dedication and determination to stick to a good workout routine and nutritional plan, and this is a quality we are able to carry over from beyond the gym to our everyday lives at home and work. We are able to focus on a goal and see it through to the end. We are patient and also consistent, meaning we have the ability to be successful at anything we put our minds to.
Sometimes we get a bad rap for being self-obsessed and boring when in fact, the opposite is true! I’m sure there are a million more reasons why we fitness fanatics make a great date that I have missed out on! Share them with us if you can think of any others!
