If you've been following Stephen's journey so far, you'll know that it generally involves running, jumping, and climbing, as well as acrobatic-type moves. But there's much more to parkour than meets the eye.

It’s also about knowing how to land or, to put it another way, knowing how to fall. This week Stephen found out first hand how not to fall...

There's always a risk that falling could lead to bruises, sprains, broken bones, and even loss of confidence. Especially when you're scared of heights... right Stephen?

We've all heard the quotes 'It’s not how many time you fall down. It’s how many times you get back up'. So we asked Stephen for his top five tips that will inspire you to get back up each time you fall.

Here are Stephen's top tips:

1. Identify what went wrong

"This fall specifically, I took my eyes off where I was going, looked down, lost concentration, and the rest is history haha"

2. Don't dwell on the fall

"It hurt. A LOT. But I knew I could get back up, knowing that I had it in me to get up and over."

3. Plan ahead

"As with any jump, climb or vault, you have stay focused on the next step and the overall end goal."

4. Believe in yourself

"Although I fell, I knew I could get over that wall. It's not just because of the support from the trainer, but deep down I knew what I’d done wrong and how to rectify it immediately."

5. Get back on the horse

"Probably the hardest the thing I’ve had to get up from over the last 5/6 weeks (it’s made getting up early in the morning seem like a breeze haha). I just knew I had the ability and the confidence to try it again and get up and over and conquer and residual fear from the fall."
