Calves are a relatively neglected muscle group, normally the focus of leg workouts is on quads and hamstrings. But if you want calves like Eddie Hall then he’s spilled his secret. And it’s simpler than you might think.
Eddie agrees that a certain element of calf growth is down to genetics, but there’s another element – patella knee straps.
He explains his use of knee straps to restrict blood flow when he works out – resulting in keeping a lot of blood in his calf, which ultimately leads to larger calves.
