Trail Runner Free 2 is a no-fuss, ultra-comfortable headlamp made for running — whether you're hitting the pavement at sunrise or tackling trails after dark. Lightweight and powerful, it’s got everything you need and nothing that’ll slow you down.
Hands-free comfort, zero distractions
Say goodbye to bouncing cords. The Free Technology design keeps everything built into the headband — no tangles, no faff, just a smooth, secure fit that stays put.
Customisable light for every stride
Engineered with runners in mind, this second-gen model packs up to 550 lumens of adjustable light (depending on battery type). Silva Intelligent Light tech blends long-distance spotlight with wide-angle floodlight, so you can see far ahead and right underfoot — helping you run smoother, steadier, and faster.
Hybrid power, your way
The included Hybrid battery case gives you options: power up with 3 AAA batteries or upgrade to a rechargeable Silva Hybrid battery (sold separately). It also has a built-in red rear light to keep you visible from behind.
Comfort that goes the distance
From the anti-slip silicone headband to the flat, tangle-free extension cord, every detail’s been designed for all-run comfort. The lamp unit weighs just 60g, and you can wear the battery on your head or stash it in a pocket with the extension cord to help preserve power in colder conditions.
