One Oil, Many Uses

Castor oil has been a staple of beauty routines for centuries, and with good reason. This version from KIKI Health is cold-pressed from organic castor seeds and left completely unrefined — no hexane, no fragrance, no preservatives. Just the oil, exactly as nature produced it.

Why Unrefined Matters

Refining strips oils. Keeping this one unrefined preserves its naturally high ricinoleic acid content — the fatty acid that gives castor oil its characteristic richness and makes it well suited for use on dry skin, coarse hair, sparse brows and brittle nails. The texture is thick by design. Its viscosity gives it a rich, coating texture.

From Scalp to Cuticle

Apply it neat to the skin or blend it with a lighter carrier oil for a less heavy feel. Work it through the scalp and hair before bed, then shampoo out in the morning. Use a drop or two on brows and lashes each evening. Rub a small amount into nails and cuticles. It does all of it — no separate products required.

Moisturiser: Warm a few drops in your hands and massage into the skin. Can also be blended with your moisturiser or mixed with a carrier oil such as coconut or jojoba.

Scalp and Hair: Massage into a dry scalp and hair 2–3 times a week. Leave on for at least 1 hour or overnight, then shampoo out thoroughly.

Lashes and Brows: Apply 1–2 drops to lashes and brows each night.

Nail Care: Rub a small amount into nails and cuticles.

Beard Care: Use a few drops on the beard each evening.

Castor Oil Pack / Warm Compress: Saturate a cloth with castor oil, apply to the target area, and cover with a towel or plastic wrap. Leave for at least 30 minutes. A hot water bottle placed over the towel is optional.

Is solvent extraction used?

No. The oil is cold-pressed and produced without hexane or any other extraction solvents.

How should it be applied to the skin?

Warm a small amount between the palms and massage into the desired area. Its rich texture can also be blended with a lighter oil or moisturiser if preferred.

What is the suggested method for hair use?

Work a small amount through the scalp or hair, leave for at least an hour or overnight, then wash out thoroughly.
