Well the votes are in and we have some surprising results to tell you about.
Firstly we’d like to thank everybody who participated in the awards; we had over 2,000 entries in total which makes the winners below our real people’s champions.
Flavour of the year – Chocolate Smooth
It was a close call between Vanilla, Chocolate Smooth and Choc Peanut Butter but our old friend Choc Smooth reigns supreme over the Myprotein flavour range and quite rightly wins our flavour of the year for being the best all-rounder with a well-balanced taste.
Protein Food of the year – Protein Rice
A two horse race between our recently launched Protein Rice and Protein Meal, ended with Protein Rice taking the plaudits. A convenient way of increasing your daily protein intake and supplied in practical boilable bags, Protein Rice has garnered more appreciation than we’d previously thought.
Protein Snack of the year – Peanut Butter
One product stole the show here and we’re not too shocked by the outcome. Our Peanut Butter is a firm favourite in many athletes’ orders and we’re delighted to see its popularity further increase this year with over 64% of votes in this category.
Amino Formula of the year – Creatine Monohydrate
Another tried and tested winner in our category to find the best amino product of the year, Creatine Monohydrate. With over 51% of the votes we had a clear winner. However, our new amino formula BCAA 4:1:1 was a relatively close second with 37%.
Whey Protein of the year – Impact Whey Protein
No prizes for guessing the winner here, Europe’s no.1 Whey Protein has garnered massive support online over the last few years and your voting supported this. With 81% of the votes Impact Whey Protein was a clear winner.
A turn up for the books, 3 products finished on exactly the same amount of votes. With exactly 28% of votes – Hurricane XS, Hard Gainer Extreme and Impact Diet Whey share our award for our best formula of the year.
