Great taste
5Vegan, but without having the taste and texture of vegan protein bars. My protein have also avoided the artificial taste that some Banoffee flavour foods have. All round great protein bar for a snack on the go.

Great reason not to turn vegan!
1I've seen a lot of places touting various goods as vegan, with tag lines such as 'you can't tell the difference' etc etc. Based on several previous positive experiences with MyProtein in general, I took a punt on the Banoffee variant of this MyVegan Carb Crusher bar. I've taken one bite, of which I spat most of it out. The banoffee flavour is a pretty strong synthetic flavour, which isn't the greatest. But the texture is where it really falls apart - literally. Compared to the regular carb crusher bars, this feels like it has had all the moisture and joy removed from it. The consistency is almost powdery, which when mixed with saliva becomes a pretty foul, gritty mess in your mouth. I'm all for companies trying to make things healthier/more environmentally friendly, but with this particular product, MyProtein haven't just missed the mark, they've missed the entire target range!

The more you have the better it gets
4Once added into muffins or cookies or porridge, adds a really nice flavour and the texture grows on you. Maybe a bit too high in fats to be considered a 'carb' crusherGoes Well With:Muffins, porridge, cookies, toast + pb

Delicious and filling
4This is a great snack that keeps you full until your next meal and proper satisfies your chocolate cravings. It does have the protein taste as expected and the texture is surprisingly powdery but nevertheless still yum!

Really dreadful
1I really like a lot of products from the my vegan range - I think they are genuinely the very best vegan protein powders around for taste and texture. However, these vegan carb crusher bars are so awful I had to throw them away. The texture is like cardboard, very very dry. The flavours are not great, but the banoffee one tastes like children's medicine, it is just horrible. Reviews seem like these bars are like marmite, you either love them or hate them. If you can handle the dry texture go for it, otherwise I would strongly recommend buying one sample bar to gauge the texture, then pick a flavour. The sea salt one was the least terrible for me. 15g of protein is a big plus, but they are so dry I couldn't eat without a drink.

Tastes like chalk
1Texture of chalk, overpowered by artificial sweeteners. I couldn't even finish half the bar - VERY rare for me! Regret ordering so many.Goes Well With:Several pints of water
