Toffee Fudge is unreal, this product is so so good. Added Butterscotch for a post workout dream.Goes Well With:Butterscotch Sugar Free Syrup
Bought this on a whim as I fancied a change from oats for breakfast. Needless to say, I was impressed! A double serving of chocolate flavour rice pudding goes down a treat in the morning. This provides great macros and a warming boost, which is helping to make winter slightly less awful...Goes Well With:Seeds, dark chocolate, pecans.
Do not buy this!!! It tastes absolutely nothing like rice pudding and has a horrible artificial taste which made me gag! Goes Well With:Nothing
Tastes perfect as a snack between or with meals.Goes Well With:Milk gives it creamier taste and increases protein count.
I don't write many reviews on MyProtein, most of their products are great or at least edible. This tastes TERRIBLE. Horrid sloppy like thing that is nothing like rice pudding. Didn't finish the first bowl and the pouch shortly after opening is going straight in the trash. Tried milk, water, different measures, adding dark chocolate or whey or oats. Blah! Go for their pre-made pudding pots for a protein treat or just save the rice pudding for cheat day but dont waste your money on this!Goes Well With:Vomit.
Nothing like rice pudding way too sweet was not nice at all and I can take most supplements Goes Well With:The bin
So disappointed in this - the texture is horrible, really fine grained. It's more like pap or semolina and nothing like actual rice pudding.Goes Well With:pained tears
Tastes just like ground rice, which I love, reminds me of my childhood, even the lumps where I can't mix it properly! It's not at all like rice pudding, but definitely like the ground rice you buy in the pudding isle at a supermarket, only minus the sugar. Vanilla is lovely, not synthetic at all. Highly recommend this, I'm buying more! I love it.
Turns into a scrambled egg type of thing, tastes like water a mild hint of vanilla once you get past the grainy phlem like texture. Not worth the calories Goes Well With:Milk
On a cut right now and this is my one daily treat - really tasty not artificial tasting - I've tried the vanilla and considering other flavours now :-)
Very much more like a porridge/ready brek kind of consistency. Mixes super well..I decided to mix in a bowl with a whisk as it was easier! Toffee fudge flavour is fine on its own but could be taken to another level with some choc-shot! Definitely worth a go!
Easy to make and tastes pretty good but is nothing like rice pudding. The texture is very fine and is more like ready Brek. When making I just mixed it in a bowl with a whisk unlike the instructions to do in a shaker as after shaking a while it really gets thick and is hard to get out of shaker.Goes Well With:Raisins, cinnamon, almond milk.
A good macro-friendly alternative to snacking. Tastes nice, however not the same as normal rice pudding. More like a hot, thicker protein shake.
Even though the reviews were hit 'n miss I bought this because I love Rice Pudding & MyProtien products.... The good- It's very easy to make, mixes easily in a shaker and only 2 minutes to heat. Tastes nice, I got the vanilla flavour. The nutritional content is very good. The but- It's consistency isn't that of Rice Pudding, I would call it "Selomina Protein Pudding" It's also quite like ready break made with a bit too much milk or water. Its quite runny, I had to add some whey protein to make it a bit thicker. Overall it's tasty and filling with good macros. But don't expect the consistency of Rice Pudding. Goes Well With:Sugar free syrup. Any flavour of whey protein you like.
I got this for the missus who has just started training and loves rice pudding. She was a bit negative as she says there is no rice texture, but apparently it tastes alright.
I'm not really sure what to make of it to be honest. It reminds me a lot of ready brek, especially taste wise. I bought chocolate and it doesn't taste bad, but there's still that tangy protein aftertaste to it which I guess can't really be avoided. That being said the macros are great and helps me to hit my daily protein, but I don't think I'll be buying another bag once I've finished this one. Goes Well With:Milk
Just writing this as i'm eating my first bowl... I wasn't sure what to expect but it isn't really what I was expecting from the title of Protein Rice Pudding... it is more of a protein pudding with ground rice for carbs. The flavor is good... added maple zero calorie syrup which is quite nice. Not sure I will be ordering again for pleasure... Goes Well With:Maple Syrup flavored Zero Calorie Syrup
Easy to mix and great texture from the rice, definitely a nice treat in the cold winter evenings
Excellent product! Tried the natural vanilla as a snack after my work out. Very good taste! Mixability+++ Can't wait to try the chocolate one!Goes Well With:cinnamon raisins
I use my protein whey and am always happy with it. I recently made a goody bag full of samples from my protein as one of my partners birthday presents since he loves going to the gym. I made this for him last night but it was not as we expected. Once mixed it resembled a protein shake which I thought was odd as rice pudding is normally lumpy. I thought maybe it would be better once it had been in the microwave but no it turned into a thick gooey texture which stuck to the spoon and felt quite sticky when trying to mix it. The taste wasn't very strong (toffee fudge) and the texture was so strange neither of us could finish it. Such a shame as we both love rice pudding.Goes Well With:Nothing
