5these bars are the best for me! Both low carbs and good taste! Almond and vanilla is my favority taste! It is ideal for diet!Goes Well With:low carb diet

Do not buy - absolutely revolting
1I have bought both flavours - Cookies & Cream and Caramel Peanut. Whilst the caramel peanut is quite good the Cookies and Cream is absolutely revolting. I have tried many protein bars from MP and other manufacturers and this is by far the most foul tasting thing on earth. I couldn't even finish half a bar! I thought it may be a manufacturing problem or batch fault so I put in a complaint but apparently everything is taste tested so what I got was problem free. Save your money and avoid the Cookie and cream like the plague. Your taste buds will be grateful.Goes Well With:Other poor tasting foods

5Since writing my first review of these bars a few weeks ago I have given a couple of flavours another go and tried another. The new one was the lemon cheesecake flavour which I didn't like - it tasted of the lemon-flavoured liquid antibiotics (my daughter's description but I agree). Ate two bars and threw the rest away - wouldn't buy again. I have tried the caramel and peanut flavour again and have changed my mind about them - they are rather nice and I have since bought another box of them :-) I have also tried the almond and vanilla bars again and I have totally changed my mind about them, too - they are lovely :-) They taste a little like marzipan which I love. My daughter has been away and I've eaten her supply of these and have had to replace them lol I have also had another chocolate flavoured bar which I enjoyed so I'll be buying another box of those. I personally prefer these bars firmer and chewy - they have a better consistency and are less powdery, like nougat. With all the products that my daughter and I have tried over the months the My Bar Zero almond&vanilla, cookies&cream, caramel&peanut and strawberry&vanilla are the things we will stick with, along with the Virtue Bars and Pro Milk, both chocolate and vanilla. They are all delicious and keep us full for a good long while.

Good Bars - But have your water ready!
4Currently dieting so the Macros on these bars are perfect for me as a quick snack. I bout the Almond / Vanilla flavour, my advice to anybody else would be, DONT! Buy a sample of each of the flavours first and find the one that is most favourable. Something I wish I had done. Having said that, I didn't buy them for the taste, and with such a low carb content the flavour was never going to be as good as some of the other MP bars. Bars aren't too chewy and do keep you full for a couple of hours. I will definitely be buying more, just not almond / vanilla. Goes Well With:Total Protein. Micellar Casein

3The bars taste great, there’s no doubt about that! And even after accounting for the problems (see below) the bar is on par with Quest bars for a better price (bought with 20% off), so still a great buy. However, they are misleading. Firstly they state there is ‘zero added sugar’, yet here are some of the ingredients in my caramel peanut bar: sugar, glucose syrup and condensed milk (these are what make the caramel pieces). I’m not bothered as it’s only 3.1% of the bar, but it still lies. There is also sunflower oil which isn’t great. Secondly the calories don’t add up: 9 calories per gram of fat x 7.3= 65.7 cals 4 calories per gram of carb x 5.1= 20.4 cals 4 calories per gram of protein x 19.6= 78.4 cals =164.5 calories. There’s 212 calories in the bar, meaning 47.5 calories unaccounted for. I’m assuming they have just shown the net carbs (i.e., not the carbs from fibre), which again is fine, but misleading. Overall, still on par with quest bars at a better price and better texture.

Amazing low carb bar
5I'm currently carb cycling thus brought these bars for my lower carb days and have absolutely loved them. I brought Cookies & Cream and the taste is amazing whilst the size of the bar is very reasonable. Makes for an great protein filled snack for those on a low carb diet Goes Well With:Chocolate smooth protein shake

Flavours from worst to best
4(Latte - don't like coffee so haven't tried them.) Apple and Cinnamon - they smelt and tasted like gone off and fermenting apples. Had one bite and threw the rest of the box away. My daughter felt the same about them. Never again.... Almond and Vanilla - I found these to be very bland but they're my daughters favourite!! Peanut and Caramel - not too bad. Wouldn't rush to buy them again but may well get some in the future for variety. Double chocolate - very pleasant and would buy again. Cookies and Cream - my favourite by a long way!!! Delicious and can't fault them!!! They smell like Baileys when the packet is first opened!!! Will be buying more of these (have already bought a further two boxes!!). However my daughter doesn't like them - oh well, all the more for me!!! Heaven....
