This would be nice with no fillers, no glucose syrup. Just MCT and a prebiotic fibre like acacia

mct powder ingredients

Received product and looking at ingredients more closely this powder is not dairy free, and the percentage of mct is only between 68-75. It Also doesn't state the percentage of C8, C10, or C12 which is very unhelpful. I will be sourcing a more pure product with clearer labeling.

Very annoyed, it says its zero sugar, but it has glucose surup. Which is sugar. Why would i take something to help keep me in ketosis that has suger in it. Thats totally the opposite to what i want.

Not being in ketosis

MCT+Sugar(Glucose Syrup)

Myprotein, if you made the same stuff without the added glucose syrup you'd have the only MCT Powder that could be used by people following a keto diet in the UK. I have searched all over the net and the only place that does sugar free MCT it imports from America and it's quite expensive. All you need do is remove this filler, it won't change the taste. If you need to add a sweetener you sell Xylitol. I just don't get it, you could corner the market for those following low carb keto diets diets in the UK. 5 stars as a friend uses it and says it's a good product, just not suitable for ketogenic diets

I got this based on the recommendation in the 6 week Bikini body plan. I have never taken it before but it seems fine. I add it into my protein shakes just for the added healthy fats. I haven't been taking it long enough to decide how much of a difference it makes but seems good so far.
Goes Well With:
Protein shakes, ice, water or milk and whatever else you like to mix in with your protein shakes ; )

2/3 MCT plus Glucose+Milk

This isn't MCT powder as it's name suggests, it's 2/3 MCT powder with glucose and milk, and therefore not as helpful as pure MCT powder if you want to use it as part of a ketogenic diet. This should be clearer in the description and it probably should be called 'Mostly MCT powder', or 'Over half MCT powder, with milk and glucose'.

Coconut Oil is superior to MCT Oil

1
Overall:
Mixability:

Effectiveness:

MCT is a manufactured oil which contains the same capra fatty acids (C6-C12) as in Coconut Oil. Coconut Oil is the richest natural source of C12, lauric acid. Unless they actually state the quantities, there is no proof that MCT is better than Coconut Oil and C6, C8 & C10 can be found in other food sources such as goat's milk. If you really want to improve focus then go and buy a Nootropic. MCT is mostly a marketing money maker to fool people stupid enough to not research what they are taking. Just Google 'MCT Oil vs Coconut Oil' and read! I would save your money and just buy the Cocopure which you will be assured is natural and very likely to contain what you expect it to.
Goes Well With:
Protein Powder.

Not unflavoured!

I bought this as MCT oil is quite expensive and this seemed like a cheaper alternative. I wanted to add it to my morning coffee for extra fat (I don't eat carbs all day until after my evening workout) and presumed being "unflavoured" it wouldn't make a difference to my favourite coffee. Unfortunately, it does. It tates like a coffee creamer, which is fine if that's what you want. I wanted to taste my nice espresso, but it now tastes a bit milky. I'd give this 5 stars if it was actually "unflavoured".
